We went here after doing an experience elsewhere, no booking and we were straight in. Staff were great and attentive, asked for a table with the view. Food arrived promptly and was delicious. Dirty burger was great and my other half had the pan roasted cod, very happy will be back again. Get your parking validated too here, massive saving.

After a very disappointing experience elsewhere, walking into Miller & Carter was a complete breath of fresh air. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcomed, looked after and valued as guests.
A special mention has to go to Magda, who was exceptional. Her warmth, professionalism and attentiveness completely turned our evening around. She was empathetic, calm and proactive, and made us feel comfortable and cared for without it ever feeling forced. It’s rare to encounter service that feels both polished and truly human, but Magda delivered exactly that.
The rest of the Miller & Carter team were equally fantastic — attentive, efficient and clearly well-trained. The atmosphere was relaxed yet professional, the service seamless, and the overall experience reminded us exactly what great hospitality should feel like.
What could have been a ruined evening was completely salvaged thanks to Magda and the wider team, and we left feeling uplifted, relaxed and grateful that we chose Miller & Carter as our alternative. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for excellent food paired with outstanding customer service.
Thank you to Magda and the entire team for restoring our faith in hospitality — you truly went above and beyond.

We visited Miller & Carter to celebrate our anniversary and had such a wonderful experience. I had the sirloin steak and my partner chose the ribeye – both were cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. The food was lovely, and the drinks were amazing too, which really made the evening feel special.
A huge thank you to our server, Alka, who did an incredible job and made us feel so welcome from start to finish. The service was attentive, friendly, and genuinely added to our celebration. Alka, congratulations again, and I truly hope everything goes well for you

Had a lovely meal here, service was excellent. Donna was our server and was very friendly, and helpful. Drinks and food came very quickly, and could see that all the servers were happy to help each other. Donna made sure to explain the menu (we ordered from rare treats), and happily gave us our desserts to take away. Steaks and sauces were very good, and general atmosphere lovely overlooking the lake. We will be visiting again!

Absolutely beautiful decor, well dressed and brilliant staff, amazing cheese and bacon burger. The smoky and spicy sauce on the side was so good. I’m going again soon. I choose the tomato and rocket salad instead of chips and didn’t regret it.

The restaurant was nice, however, Filet Mignon was hard to chew. The portion is small and I don’t recommend for someone who is very hungry. Staff were nice but extremely busy and had to wait king to be seated or to get service. I don’t recommend during busy days.

As always Donna looked after us. First class service. Food was beautiful, we both the 8oz steak. Both beautifully cooked. Mini puds for after. Had a good time as usual, very good atmosphere.

Decent value for money when it comes to steak hence the 4 rating. Steaks are as you’d expect from a chain restaurant. Atmosphere was alright, some music playing, nice views, plenty of people in. Lighting could do with some work, was a bit too dark. Service was excellent. Servers always had a smile and generally just talked to you as people. Big thanks to Alison, she was absolutely lovely.
