We went for a girls Christmas meal and although it was a weekday it was busy so I would recommend to make a reservation. Lovely big restaurant with plenty of seats and booths. We had a choice from the normal menu or the set menu. We all went with the set menu, but we noticed a lot of the options had an additional charge that can make the set menu quite expensive. The only negative that we found quite annoying is the camembert on the set menu (starter) was a 2 person portion which meant someone else couldnt have a starter off their set menu. Why put it on the set menu if you HAVE to share? Not everyone wanted camembert as a starter. The mains were delicious! I would personally give the puddings a miss, but only really ordered one as it was part of the deal. They looked better than they tasted. Its a steakhouse at the end of the day so not too fussed with the puddings.
Will definitely go back with my other half. Its a rare treat though as its not a cheap night out!

Went for lunch with a friend and was really impressed from start to finish. Decor lovely, really welcoming.
Service second to none, our server Geraldine was attentive but not in your face which was refreshing.
Food was lush, really tasty, beautifully seasoned, and cooked very well.
Overall, very happy and will definitely return.

Absolutely top service from the time we arrived until we left.
The table service was great even with us being a party of 10.

Just enjoyed a lovely meal with my family. The lady who served us (Mel) was so nice. She looked after us all with a happy smile and warm welcome. One of our group had a choking incident and Mel and other staff members all came over to check if they were alright. They were all concerned they were ok and really looked after us. Brilliant service, great food and a lovely atmosphere.

Fantastic steakhouse with a great atmosphere. Despite being very busy on Saturday evening, the service was impressively quick. The steak was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. We had a lovely evening at the Miller & Carter Alwalton. Although the black Angus steaks we ordered were not the best pieces of the loin, neither grilled to perfection, we still enjoyed our meals. The service made up for all of that. From the moment we walked in until paying the bill, Cristina provided us with excellent service, making us feel at ease. She even provided an extra with my dessert for my birrhday

I went out for lunch with a group of friends and I am very pleased to say that our experiences were absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was very lovely, romantic and warm-welcoming, the service was excellent, the food was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Mel C who served us at our table! I would like to say thank you very much to her and the rest of the crew for their amazing service and hospitality and we will definitely be coming back there again!

The service was top notch! Paige was a fantastic waitress and we hope we have her every time we visit in the future. Food was also absolutely fantastic apart from the vegetable side that looked like it was a couple of days old. Would definitely come again. Recommend the Butchers Block, the bone marrow is to die for.

Went around 6pm on a Sunday with two of my mates to grab a simple steak dinner. This was our second time there, but it was surely an experience to remember.
Service was professional throughout the hour and a half we were there. I believe we were sat at table 15, which was located close to where the servers picked up food and had a clear view of the bar, too. I cannae remember our servers’ name for the life of me, but she introduced us to the menu and offered to get us drinks, and took our order as usual – we opted for the Sunday Menu, which gave us a starter, main and dessert.
Shortly after providing us with drinks and starters, our server unfortunately tripped whilst bringing us our lettuce. I believe she broke her ankle, but despite getting some lettuce on me, the manager on shift promptly handled the situation by providing aid and delegating tasks effectively to maximise service efficency. Our server was on the floor for around 30 minutes, and the manager remained calm and provided comfort and relaxed the injured colleague, until she was picked up by a relative and presumably was sent to hospital. I do hope she recovers swiftly and well.
Consequently, I did not get a cocktail I’d ordered and we did not receive replacement lettuce, but of course this was of no inconvienence to my table nor me as presumably this did mess up the flow of things. Our drinks were comp’d for this, and after a slight delay we received our steak. The steak was warm, juicy and represented the standard provided by this restaurant. We did have to wait a while for a waitress to provide us with a dessert menu and despite asking for a coke (after not getting the baileys cocktail) this was missed also, but again; cannot fault the servers for this owing to the circumstances.
They handled this well, and smiled through it. The Manager was professional and composed throughout all of it, as were the rest of the team (or at least appeared to be)
I hope the injured colleague recovers well and swiftly, her service was impeccable and she is a blessing to have in the restaurant.
