I’ve been going to Millburn Deli since there was only one in Millburn. The business has grown and that’s great for them. They deserve it. Normally I get a sloppy Joe which is always amazing. Over the years I have noticed that there making it a little differently but it’s still good and very flavorful. Today I tried the Westfield,NJ location and I got a smoked turkey sub sandwich. The sandwich was good. Millburn deli uses quality meats and ingredients which is much appreciated. Although I think it was prepared with the ingredient I requested, the sauce and juice (oil, vinegar) was put directly on the top bread instead of through the sandwich. I am a sandwich person this was a little disappointing because it made the sandwich dry. The sandwich was still good. I would definitely recommend Millburn deli and I will always return.

10/10 best sandwiches in Jersey!! Everything is so fresh, the baguette is one of the best I’ve ever had. The establishment is clean, well kept and the customer service is amazing!! The whole team is incredible, super friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating! The sandwich was a good size and loaded, I got full with half! I will definitely be back again and again. Don’t waste your time anywhere else these sandwiches are it!!

Hello everyone – I visited Millburn Deli for the first time today and tried the Reuben sandwich.
I ended up paying $22 total, including an extra $6 for added pastrami. Honestly, for that price, I expected something more substantial. The portion was just not worth it, and that stuck in my head the whole time – it really took away from the experience.
Sure, it was tasty, but I know other places nearby that charge me less and give me a Reuben just as good — but 2 to 3 times the size. That comparison made this sandwich feel even more underwhelming.
For educational purposes, I even went back to double-check if this was the correct order. And yes — it was. I mean, come on… even without the extra pastrami, the sandwich looked sad. Just two thin layers? Puh.
The taste was decent, but definitely not worth the price, and certainly not enough to bring me back.
Sorry, but no sorry — I left feeling disappointed and ripped off.
PS: there was ONE piece (slide) of a pickle 🙂

Tried the Westfield deli for the first time, as a friend loves the Millburn location. Ordered a pastrami and turkey, plus a turkey and ham monster Joe, and online it’s $17.95, but the lady at register was new or something and punched the items up separately and came out to $19.95. Didn’t notice until I had gotten to car already. The sandwiches were good, but watch the receipts to make sure items rang up correctly. Also, the board there believed it said “monster combo” … but it just had a sandwich, so not sure where the “combo” is… place was clean. Not many seats to eat in.

I’ve Ben ordering lunch from her almost ever week and can say that love this deli. The staff are friendly and efficient, the shop is clean, and the service is consistently fast. Their ingredients taste fresh and carefully chosen — crisp greens, high-quality meats, and bread that’s baked to the perfect texture.
Prices are fair for the quality, and they offer quick takeout and sit-down options. I recommend trying the Godfadda if you want a hearty, flavorful sandwich — it’s become my favorite for a reason.

I placed two (2) orders through the online app. My fourteen year old son went into the Millburn Deli, Westfield location to pickup the sandwich order. I told him to make sure there were two sandwiches inside the bag. He did not.
Upon getting home and seeing the order was incomplete, I attempted to call the store. I was unable to get through as there is NO direct number to the store. Going through the prompts does not reach a live person, only a prompt to submit an email regarding a concern.
Upon returning to the store, the casher tried to explain that staff was unsure if the order was a duplicate order or not and made only one sandwich…but charged for two. Staff credited me back the cost of the sandwich, but was unapologetic.
I emailed the Millburn Deli, who did not respond other than to say they received confirmation of a credit.
Customer service follow-up is lacking.

Edited Review after getting the sandwhich, I agree with the other reviewers, it seems like there is less protein than I have had on the same Gobbler sandwich at the other Millburn Deli locations. I spoke with the manager who told me they all are 1/4 lb of meat. He told me to email support to with my concerns.

We had three sandwiches. The GodFadda, The Jay Ray & the Wild Bull. The Jay Ray was our favorite with the Chipotle ranch and the bacon as the main flavors in this sandwich. The GodFadda was are second favorite with the bacon and Russian dressing standing out in this sandwich. Both of these sandwiches are made with chicken cutlets. Our least favorite was the Wild Bull which is made with Tri-tip steak Monterey jack cheese sautéed onions and A-1 steak sauce. The sandwiche was very good but for my preference I would have light a BBQ sauce on it instead of the A-1 sauce. All the sandwiches were great and made on sub roll or Flatbread pressed. Overall a very good sandwich shop and I will be a repeat customer.
