The Millbrae Pancake House has been owned and operated by the same family since we opened our doors on Mother’s Day way back in 1959. We have watched the world around us change dramatically over the last 63 years, but at the Millbrae Pancake House, our time honored traditions haven’t changed at all.We still make our famous pancakes and waffles from scratch, we still use the finest quality ingredients in all our food and making our customers feel at home is still our number one priority. Upon entering the establishment, the place was already teeming with people. Surprisingly, we didn’t have to wait long for a table. The food reminiscent of typical diner, turned out to be quite satisfying. The ambiance is unmistakable has an 80s vibe. The overall experience was fantastic, complemented by excellent service. If you’re in the mood for comforting and delicious food, I would definitely urge you to consider this place.

I particularly like going to breakfast places like this one. A family run restaurant that focuses on great food over just being another chain restaurant. The food was cooked at lightning speed and tasted great. I had a mushroom omelette and the crepes. I definitely want to come back again when I’m in town. Parking is sufficient but might be full at times. Get there early if you don’t want to deal with that issue. It started getting busy as we finished our meal.

Ten years ago, I first visited Millbrae Pancake House and since then, I have returned numerous times. It has become my top recommendation for a delicious brunch spot. The food is scrumptious and the serving size is ample, especially since they provide two generous-sized pancakes on the side of your order. I find the service to be prompt and efficient.

Very busy place for breakfast. Feels good being in this restaurant. The service is friendly and they don’t rush you. People seemed very happy having their breakfast choices. The Pecan Waffle was good and I enjoyed it. Perhaps it was a little on the dry side for my taste. The crepe with strawberry was tasty too as were the egg dishes. Coffee was good too. Yup…. Over all a good experience. Give this place a shot….

Straightforward breakfast and lunch eatery. Plenty of choices from crepes, omelettes, pancakes, sandwiches, etc. Nothing really jumps out in terms of flavor, but will fill you up. Parking is very limited, so most likely have to find a spot on the street and hoof it.

One of my favorite places by the airport and in the millbrae area for brunch. No frills and thrills BUT that is the best part. I am gluten free due to health reasons and they have an awesome buckwheat pancake. Every single dish is delicious here, good portions and affordable. Service is good and you don’t wait too long even if there is a wait time.
