We went here for lunch as it was on our way to St. Johns. I’ve ordered a salmon dish with vegetables.
We were a bit disappointed as there was nowhere in the menu (written on the board) that they charge in USD, just prices were in $ so we assumed its in EC.
The food we thought was average, the service was good, and we struggled to eat because there were so many flies.
I don’t think we’ll come back just because of the flies and total bill was overpriced.

Very happy to have found this place after a walk ilfrom out ship. Service was very friendly. The beach wasn’t busy. They do horse tours close by so you might step in stuff. Very happy with our visit.

We walked to Fort James Beach from downtown and happened across Millaz. Super delightful owner who rents out beach chairs for $10 for the day, which you can plonk either in the sand or under one of their ~10 little wooden beach “huts”.
Small food menu available, and a tad pricey … but don’t forget that you’re also paying for location and atmosphere! I ordered a chicken burger as I was starving, and it was served very quickly with a big smile — beautiful presentation, piping hot, and it smelt amazing!
They also have clean bathrooms and changerooms on site, as well as free Wi-Fi.
Absolutely incredible (quiet!) beach that’s worth it even paying the extra for the chair and the food.

Catch a cab right outside the port. Horseback riding (even in the ocean rides!). Chairs and umbrellas, food and drinks.
There are things to buy from shops, and people came around selling fresh coconut. But they really didn’t hassle and push.
Big waves, beautiful and clean beach. Bathrooms as well.

Great location and quiet spot on the beach, but take note that everything is charged separately and they aren’t willing to discuss (also not the friendliest bunch). WiFi is not free as noted by another user. Umbrella $10, chairs $10 each, and then there is a small bar with food and drinks. Beach and atmosphere is really nice, but there are definitely better spots here.

Local people hang out. Food was just so-so. Drinks were small but good. Beach is a just ok. To dirty for me. Clean bathroms and nice showers. Whole place appears to be improving. Much nicer beaches elsewhere.
