Great little dive bar/restaurant. The building looks a little rough and a bit intimidating but don’t worry, the folks inside are friendly. The food is fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. Make sure you check out the “today’s special” chalkboard behind the bar. I would definitely eat here often if I lived close by.

Went to go watch the Super Bowl and the halftime show and have a good time, drink a beer.
just for the second the halftime show comes on to switch to the Alternative broadcast?
Several bar patrons besides also asked the lady or stated out loud where is the halftime show?
She stated she didn’t want anything to be political and wanted music but switched to a channel where some anchor is talking about a Twitter post some politician made whilst muting the other stream. Going right to the channel she wanted to watch and cranking up the volume up on it.
when asked about it directly she replied if you don’t like it you can turn the other way and not watch it.
She kept repeating I just want to watch and listen to music, while I’m asking her why the commercials of the super bowl are muted? And we are are watching some suit and tie talk politics.
She then said they way I see it we are “all American” Okay? what is that even in reference too?
…..kind of ironic that’s the name of the show she put on “to not be political”
Please know this is a real, I couldn’t fathom in my mind someone being this insensitive and dull (slow to grasp) when people are actively asking and complaining .

It’s a Trump bar. If you can look over that, the staff is great and the characters that hang there are amusing. Bar food is basic and boring. Just beer/wine. As a biker, the parking lot is a NO GO- all gravel.

I’ve been wanting to come here for a while. They have $2 taco Tuesdays which were awesome. I suggest getting The buffalo chicken bites. They were nothing that I’ve ever had in this area. With a crispy coat shell on them with the buffalo sauce which made it amazing. The seasoned tacos were great. The vegetables were fresh. I tried one of my husbands soft shells that were delicious. Unfortunately my hard taco shells were a little old but nothing to complain about. I will still be coming back. Great atmosphere. A very small quaint restaurant with friendly staff. One pool table, games, jukebox, and lots of friendly people.

The friendly waitress was a highlight, as well as the guy who put money in the jukebox and asked what we wanted to hear. It was very quiet for a Sunday during football season, but I liked the pub grub and the variety of burgers. Nice people.

This place was AMAZING!! We were down for the day w our dog. We needed a place to grab a bite before returning to Richmond. OMG the food was amazing, the chicken fingers looked like they used a whole chicken. Unreal and delicious! Looked like a hole n the wall when we pulled up but aren’t those the BEST EATS! Will def go back here!

If you didn’t know it was there, you would drive right by Mill Creek Tavern and not give it a second thought. It is not very big, and while it isn’t designed for families, that doesn’t mean they aren’t family friendly. They don’t have a kids menu, but their chicken strips and fries were a hit with my youngest two. (They split them)
The service was tremendous, you could tell that this place has a number of regulars, a number of gentlemen came in to play pool and they were all greeted by name. But even though we had never been there, the same kindness and service was extended to us and we felt like we could have been regulars too.
The burgers were unique and fantastic, and we loved the fried cheese curds!

I was visiting the Hampton area to medically oversee a boxing match and had had a strenuous day sitting in the blazing sun for 6 hours watching sites. I was exhausted a quiet cool place to calm down and eat. I randomly picked the Mill St Tavern and what a lucky pick. It’s a small, nondescript building out of town. I went in and immediately felt better! It was kinda dark and cool. The hostess was adorable and courteous. I had steak bits as an appetizer which was a steak cut up into cubes. It was very tender and perfectly cooked. Entree was a triple decker club and tater tots. GREAT!!! Prices were reasonable, food was great, service and atmosphere was wonderful!!! I’d go back.

This place is a lil hole in the wall.
Serve food and beer only. It was packed on Saturday evening when we went . Food and service was fantastic. I had the steak bites and husband had patty melt. Reasonable prices. Haven’t had a bad experience there yet.
Good neighborhood bar.
