We purchased Mill Creek Cafe in June of 2021. I was a homemaker, homeschool teacher for our six children, and my husband a realtor. Neither had experience managing a restaurant before, but we jumped right in during peak season, at the cusp of the onset of inflation. It has been an incredibly educating experience as we continue to strive to shape this previously established business into something that we feel called to. May it be said, That is a place full of Goodness, not only regarding your food but your time with us here at MCC and the essence of this place. We hope you leave with contentedly full bodies, smiles on your faces and a bit of wonder. We appreciate all feedback, because all patrons matter immensely.

Phenomenal food. Burgers are top notch, fries are next level. The menu here is packed with flavor and seems to be prepared using fresh whole foods. Arrived around 11am after the breakfast rush/before the lunch rush and when we walked in we noticed the waitresses/servers make a face/ looked upset/ bothered that we walked in. It honestly discouraged us a little but we figured they might be tired from the morning rush and decided to give them a chance. The food was good and they had a little store area which the kids enjoyed! Besides the faces made at us when we walked in our server was attentive.

Went in today and ordered a couple of burgers, 2 sweet teas and chips and salsa. Total came out to just shy of $50. Bet steep for what we got. I’m kind of a burger snob and would rate these burgers 6/10… Not great but not bad. The fries were decent. The chips and salsa were actually pretty good. The place seemed clean. In short, i wouldn’t drive out of my way to go here but wouldn’t mind if i had to go back.

We came for an early breakfast before the crowd arrived. My husband ordered a meat and cheese omelet and I got 2 mill Creek Tacos. The portion sizes were OK and food was descent. The service was good and the place was clean.

Poor wait staff. They had 2 groups of over 15 people. The bikers”brother brother” were stupid loud and annoying. The wait staff were very nice. The salad bar was great. Had the chicken fried steak which was alright. More breading than meat. The okra was pretty good. Would definitely come back again.

We came back for the chicken tenders and CFC. Was majorly disappointed with the tenders size. When asked, we just got ugliness. There’s a server in there bringing the entire joint down. Maybe we will be back in the off season to try again. I attached pictures. First time we dined in. Second, togo.
