Overall great ice-cream. It was considerably thicker and richer than other places I’ve tried, bordering on soft-serve texture. I got a flavor that was similar to mexican hot chocolate. Service is quick, but limited indoor seating.

the ice cream tasted phenomenal– unbeatable— and I HIGHLY SUGGEST the “whipped cream” topping. I have no idea how they made it so different from the regular/ usual whipped cream, but this just blows your mind!

Definitely worth a visit! The ice cream is very… creamy, but light, perhaps thanks to the nitrogen-based cooling process. Which by the way is very entertaining to watch!
Their signature chocolate flavor is too sweet for my taste; I’m a dark chocolate person, sorry. But I loved their almond butter and sea salt caramel flavors!

If you ever want to try premium ice cream that doesn’t rely on toppings for its flavor and quality then I highly recommend this place!
Cool interior design with good use of natural woods, modern music, and great friendly servers that actually care about making good and good-looking ice creams!
It may be a little pricey, but the portions are quite large and filling! If you look at Calorie per dollar it’s not bad at all.

The blue flavor may be super artificial but it tastes like the essence of cookie dough: rich and sweet with hints of salt and vanilla! My new favorite flavor

First time trying Milkcraft here in New Haven. Ice cream was delicious and so were the toppings. Staff was nice and quick with the order. I wasn’t a giant fan of the bubble cone. I’ve had the bubble waffle cones at other places and this ones kinda meh. Not sure if mine was undercooked or if that’s just how they make them, but it just tasted like a fluffy pancake instead of a crispy on the edges waffle.

I had the best experience at milkcraft today! The ladies were so sweet and kind to me and my friend. It was my friend and I’s first time being here and the ladies were more than happy to explain everything to us! The ice cream was great and the music was a good vibe!! I feel so bad because there was no online tip option and the ladies really deserved it! It was also very hot in the building and it didn’t feel like there was any air-conditioning on, so I hope the workers are able to stay cool especially in this hot summer weather! Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely be coming back!

So, I don’t know why this place seems to have a slightly bad rap. The major complaint appears to be customer service. I personally did not have any issues with the customer service. The employee was professional and knew the product. Maybe folks wanted someone to sing and dance or perhaps fake an overtly friendly attitude. I don’t need that. I don’t need to find friends or be validated as a person by someone who probably doesn’t get paid enough to deal with folks that want to be pampered 24/7 . Be professional. And the person I dealt with was definitely that.
As far as the reason I went to Milkcraft, the ice cream was delicious. I had the cookie butter and the flavor was phenomenal. Very creamy and fresh tasting. My daughter had cereal and milk flavored on a waffle cone. I tried it, and that too was amazing. You cannot go wrong with the way this ice cream tastes or is presented. I’d give this place a 4.5 if google let me. The only real issues are a few more flavors wouldn’t hurt and I wish there was a parking lot because it is an issue to find a spot anywhere near there.
Bottom line go to an ice cream place to get ice cream. Not your ego stroked.

Stumbled upon this place while walking back to the parking garage while visiting the area. Place is modern, exceptional staff and GREAT music playing. Wait was short, menu is fantastic and you can’t really go wrong with a cone, cup or shake! I got the fruity pebbles and milk while my girlfriend got the sea salted caramel with kettle corn. Fantastic! Get. Down. There.
