Excellent service! Very good food! I stopped by for lunch and was pleasantly surprised! I had the salmon chowder. The flavor was a little smoky but perfect with the croutons and toppings. The tater tots were 200% and the fish sandwich was satisfying. The secret sauce should be bottled! I wish there was better and closer parking instead of in the tiny lot in front or the paid lot in back that you had to cross streets to reach.

I went into Milk and Honey on a Friday for lunch, and the General Manager, Brandon, took great care of me! He had such a vibrant demeanor and did an excellent job explaining the menu.
I ordered the crab hash with a side of cheese grits, and the food was extraordinary. It came out quickly and was perfectly cooked. I also enjoyed two mimosas (Cranberry and Peach). Note: Since this is an express location, they don’t use glassware, but you still get the same amount as if it were served in a glass.
This was my first time at this location, and I was very impressed. I’ll definitely be back!

The place is small with only two tables inside. I had to sit at the counter to the side in a small space (other people were there) on a stool and it was not comfortable. Service was a little slow due to there being only one person to have to take orders, fulfill them and work the register. The food was just mid-average. The eggs were decent but the grits were a little bland and had to be dressed up. The crispy salmon hash was flavorful and the cajun cream sauce was very delicious. However, the problem with all of the food was that none of it was hot. None of it! It was all luke warm at best. That is what diminishes the whole meal and experience. The meal dd not deliver the experience for the price paid.

The food was one of the best I’ve ever had!!! Definitely food that will always be remembered to me. Comforting, hearty, and rich food! The only thing I would say is I wish there would be more tables– there’s only one table and mostly stools and bar tables. Otherwise, great place and kind people!

EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!!!! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was super chill. The manager took care of us and he was awesome; this was our first time there, and he really made us feel welcome and comfortable.
Now let’s talk about the food, hot, flavorful, and just plain good. The chicken was tender, the eggs were cheesy, and that sauce was the perfect finishing touch. Definitely a great experience all around!

The food was good but for the price I couldn’t justify it. The chicken and smothered biscuits was flavorful but the fried chicken was a little chewy. The Cajun sauce was amazingly savory with a little kick. Biscuits was soft fluffy and buttery. The drink prices were too high for me to want to justify getting one. The waitress did misunderstand the order but it was rectified with little issue. The response was a little aggressive but again was corrected. The space is small and parking very limited. But the lighting is nice and not too bright or too dim. Loved the writing on the walls and the vanity mirror for photo ops.

We are from out of town a this restaurant was close to our hotel before we hit the road. When we walk in we were greeted by a nice young man. I don’t know what his role was but he literally look like he was a one man show. He was handling everything from taking orders to waitressing to passing out the to go orders. The food was good. We had the shrimp and grits the Cajuns sauce was good with it. My husband had the catfish and grits the fish was good but he said the grits need more flavor. The honey biscuit were good as well. Parking is very limited.

Rare Neighborhoods Gem—If you’re up for Cajun food because of Mardis Gras or any reason, Milk & Honey is divine. We frequently get their breakfast biscuits, which are pillowy and filled with scrambled eggs and Turkey sausage. One order is enough for two and priced incredibly well. For dinner tonight we had their famous Shrimp & Grits, filled with decadently creamy and cheesy grits, blackened shrimp, sausage, and fresh cherry tomatoes and herbs! And we added some freshly fried catfish and grits. Dessert was a warm peach turnover topped with a bit of caramel sauce and ice.cream! Heaven and worth the calorie splurge! Service was beyond accommodating. Whenever we order online, the food is ready for pickup and well-packed. This spot deserves your attention and for that you will be rewarded!
