This was our first time here and we really enjoyed it. We ordered the moose track, mint meister and the double chocolate. You can also order different toppings and they’ll add it right in. They scoop it you pick the toppings and they mix it on the cold counter! The place was pretty cool and busy! Well definitely be back when we’re in town!

We absolutely loved our visit to Milk & Honey Ice Cream! I had the chocolate and honey lavender scoops—both were rich, smooth, and full of flavor. The honey lavender especially stood out with its unique floral sweetness that wasn’t overpowering. My wife had the dark chocolate and honey lavender combo, and she was equally impressed—the dark chocolate was decadent and perfectly balanced. The shop itself was charming and cozy, with a friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

While staying in Traverse City, I couldn’t wait to try some sweet treats. I’ve had Moomers ice cream before & it’s good, but Milk & Honey intrigued me with its promise of not only a variety of flavors and mixtures, but also sugar free, dairy free, and vegan options. To say Milk & Honey did not disappoint would be an understatement! The first time we went, I got the German Chocolate, a combination of dark chocolate ice cream, pecans, toasted coconut, and caramel. Holy cow! The medium I got was a lot of food, but I managed to finish every bit of deliciousness. I loved it so much that I went back the next day, dying to try the Milk & Honey Lavender. Wow! The honey lavender has just a hint of lavender, when paired with their house caramel and roasted pecans it is to die for! A little more understated compared to the German Chocolate, but equally fabulous. The staff was also super friendly and anxious to share their thoughts on what I might like. Milk & Honey buries every other ice cream shop in the area & I cannot wait to go back.

It’s good…but they need to try some new flavors. It has been YEARS since they’ve done anything (including vegan). Let’s get some ice cream innovation going here. And also fix that one light bulb that has been flickering forever.

Think Cold Stone Creamery, but all of the ice cream is made in house and there was so many vegan options. Right on the street with lots of shops, restaurants, and bars. This place was awesome and the ice cream was something I will dream about.

So good! Healthy, homemade ice cream! Was not expecting how fresh it tasted and they mixed up the flavors on the spot. Yum!

It’s worth driving to traverse city from detroit just for Milk and Honey. I second all of the other amazing reviews. We left late to return to Detroit so we could stop at Mill and Honey one last time for an ice cream breakfast!

Came in on a rainy day and had an incredible frozen treat experience. Got a hot latte for the chill, and discovered that their blueberry sorbet and vegan lavender maple flavors taste like actual Magic together. Great by themselves too, and Im not even vegan. Excellent service, inventive flavors blew my mind, 10/10.
