Went in at night a half hour before closing with my wife. Girl with nosering took our order very polite. The taller guy that was sweeping was very rude. I guess we interupted his sweeping. He kept banging the chairs moving them around. It was very loud. He didnt even say hello. Was this the closing manager? We saw the girl say goodbye to him and leave. We have multiple choices in Monona to eat at, and this is how we were treated. As a husband I was very upset. My wife doesnt deserve to be treated like this. We wont be back… How hard is it to say Hello How are you? Hard I guess….

OMG! I just ordered this new pretzel sandwich- talked to the guys making it before and they sold me. I chose the onion and pickle and added jalapeños.

After ordering I realized there was quite a bit of one Star reviews for this location. I thought while this is a perfect time to do a review.
I am a longtime Google reviewer and have ate at Big Mike’s in Sun prairie way before it was ever milio’s. I also went to UW Milwaukee where the highest grossing Jimmy John’s in the state was right across the street. That being said I have to say that I am quite happy with milio’s Monona. The guy on the phone promptly took my order and advised me that the delivery driver was out on delivery and could be up to 40 minutes. Well 20 minutes later… Here rolls up milio’s with my order.
Not only was the order fast but it was correct and the guy was very nice and I can’t say a word other than great for the service. The food is why I gave it four stars as it is good but it wasn’t phenomenal however the service was and I really appreciate the guy in the Acura getting here so quickly. 40 minutes was going to be acceptable but 20 minutes totally made my experience that much better..
I got the chicken bacon club in It was all right.
I’m definitely ordering again from here and will probably do the Italian.

Worst sandwich ever. 2 thin slices of meat and mounds of lettuce. All I could taste was the lettuce. Never again! Lousy sandwich and drink $11.50. Stupid!

Excellent subs, ingredients, and bread. The owner of the Broadway Drive location is great the staff is always friendly. I’m a big sub guy and their subs are always carefully constructed with even distribution of toppings. Milio’s subs are not hastily thrown together like other sub shops…

Overall I like Milio’s and normally enjoy the food I’ve purchased from their East Park Drive location. This was my first (and last) purchase from this location in Monona. Ordered a #17 and when I got home discovered the whole sub had one layer of turkey, they forgot the ham, and what it lacked in ham it tried to make up for with an over abundance of lettuce. Still recommend Milio’s, just not the Monona location.
