Place was extremely busy when I arrived. It looked like I was just missing the lunch rush. There was only 1 table left for seating.
This first visit, I ordered fish & chips, bento, chicken katsu, fried saimin and I think it was called 7 layer jello.
Now this fish & chips were delicious. The batter was light and golden. The fish was flakey and moist. It was perfection. Fries were a bit overcooked for my preference, however I ordered a cup of gravy that just made it amazing. The fish and teri beef was the star for the bento. I really didn’t care for their chicken katsu. Their fried saimin was decent. You can taste that they make their own noodles. I’d say it in my top 5 of best fried noodles I’ve had.
All in all, it was a great first experience and I look forward to coming here again!
They make the saimin noodles in house and ask for the shoyu/hot mustard packets to give it the extra kick. Havent really had a bad dish here, I always get the fried saimin, shoyu chicken ala carte, sweet sour beef eggplant, and teri meatballs
