I ordered a carrot cake and chocolate and vanilla cupcakes for my son’s birthday. The woman taking my order took her time with me to understand everything I was requesting and double checked with the decorator the whole time. All I said for the cake was “A purple rally car with a number 2 on it” and I was amazed when my husband brought it home! Seriously a work of art! Not only did it look amazing but it was the most delicious cake. Everyone loved it and there was none left after the party! The cupcakes were delicious too and there were lots of comments on how good the frosting was. They even sent some Elmo and Cookie Monster rings to go on top of the cupcakes home at pick up after I had been asking about pricing for decorating the cupcakes like that. So sweet and thoughtful. Thank you!!

Right in Milford’s downtown. Love the vibes there. They have a good variety of pastries, they have drinks as well and cakes by order but not cheap.

They do have a couple of gluten free desserts they were ok. The big cookies are a sugar rush for the kids and they have so many options!

I liked my pecan danish it was good tho the chocolate chip scones were dry and hard as a bone unfortunately.

Will have to try the cakes tho they look beautiful.

Went by on a Saturday morning for some treats – tried the deep fried chocolate chip cookie – delicious like an elephant ear crossed with a cookie. Also tried the vanilla cream and raspberry pastry – light and delicious, not too sweet.

So many unique options of treats and a great selection of colorful iced cookies. They probably do alot of wedding cakes, there was a couple doing a cake tasting while I visited.
The staff was very attentive and they all asked if they could help me.
I tried the stuffed oatmeal raisin cookie, it is massive. It most definitely should be spit and shared.

No variety… Over priced, Undersized …. Inedible Gross Food now focused on expensive ‘trophy cakes’ for the affluent.

I went back after my 2 star review figuring to give it a another chance. Same as always, very little selection but to be fair I tried one of thier tiny $2.50 “lemon” bars. Lemon bars is an easy standard to judge… if you can’t make a lemon bar, then hang it up. So what I got was revolting what I can only describe as a stale yellow gummy worm filling with no flavor (see picture).. that string just hung there like a rubber band…. So TINY portions, Overpriced, GROSS Inedible food. I would give it negative starts if possible, but the staff is friendly so at least one for them.

It seems to have gone to a ‘high-end’ specialty cake bakery, trying to cater to the more affluent clientele in Milford that can afford expensive artsy cakes.

OUtside of custom cakes, their product choice is incredibly limited now. It really does not resemble any type of Bakery you would expect. Their donuts and muffins are small and overpriced. At any given time, the selection of baked goods is very small.
Service at Milford Bakery is slow. With a focus on intricate specialty cakes, the wait times have increased considerably. While the staff remains friendly, the slow service can be off-putting for many. Another downside is their cash-only policy for purchases under $10.

As a bakery that once catered to all, it’s disheartening to see it fall so short. There are a ton of better places if you just want baked goods besides specialty cakes. Kroger, Proving Grounds Coffee etc. Or just go up to Colasanti’s Market and which has an amazing bakery with much more variety.

Fresh donuts, baked to perfection. Coffee was ok, could’ve been a little warmer but it was still ok to drink. People were very friendly and the service was quick. I got a dozen for 5 of us and they were all eaten so they were pretty good donuts.

This is the second time we have used Milford Baking Company for celebration cakes and we highly recommend them. The cakes are delicious (cherry chip is our favorite) and beautifully decorated. They are easy to work with and accommodating to design ideas. We will continue using them for all of our special events.

What happened to the old fashioned bakery? The generosity and the feeling that you’re not paying a dollar a bite? Milford is that old style bakery, proud to be themselves and not pretentious.

4 stars because they have a $10 minimum for card purchases, they didn’t have cinnamon rolls today, and the pecan rolls were kind of dry. I ended up buying something extra that I will probably not eat in order to meet the $10 minimum card purchase. However I’ve had their pasties and orange loaf before and those were quite tasty.

We ordered cookies and asked for a TIKI theme. Tiffany found several designs for us and they were not only visually stunning but tasted so good! Highly recommended!!!!
