However, as soon as I stepped out of the car, the delicious aroma of charcoal instantly lifted my mood. It was my first time visiting, and I was excited to try their food — that smoky grill scent outside definitely set a good tone.
I ordered the Combination for Two, and the portion was generous. The grilled tomato, onion, and jalapeño were a tasty garnish that complemented the meat nicely. Overall, the meat was well seasoned and flavorful.
For the sides, I chose a salad and curry potato soup. The curry soup had a strong spice flavor that was a bit overpowering, and I wish the to-go container had been sealed better since some of it spilled. The salad, on the other hand, came with crispy pita bread on top, which was a nice touch.
The yellow rice was the only real disappointment — I was expecting a fluffy texture and fragrant flavor, but it was too soggy.
Still, the restaurant was clean, and the staff were friendly. Despite a few small letdowns, the overall experience was pleasant.
You can purchase any of their wonderful items, grill them at home put them in the fridge and grill them later or have Mila’s grill them on their charcoal fed fire right there while you wait. They also have a full menu of absolutely delicious wraps and sides. They are quite conscious about healthy ingredients. They don’t use seed oils and even the French fries are cooked in beef tallow oil for highest quality and great taste. The staff is courteous, efficient and the cooks move like the flash churning out the deliciousness. Stop by soon as you get a chance, it will become your instant favorite. Fine food dining without hour and a half wait:)
We ended up ordering the chicken Tikka kabob and the beef shawarma which were amazing but Kenny brought us the open faced kafta to try and oh my god. That’s my new favorite meal, with a little lemon on top you are all set. I also had the curry over rice which was delicious and the chicken cream chop as well. The owner even packed everything up to go while I was in the bathroom so to come out and sit down and have everything put away so nice for me was so beyond thoughtful. Kenny also gave us some coffee and I think I’ve never been more content after a dinner. Seriously to Mila’s, you guys are amazing. Atmosphere, cleanliness, food quality. It’s all 5 stars. And the ingredients he uses are the real deal. They fry the fries in fat instead of crap oils, they use real ingredients on everything right down to the sugar they serve. I love it here and you get the biggest round of applause from me. Thank you so much!
The tiny lamb chop ( in the picture) cost me $40, serve with nothing !!
Over pricey and small portion. Not worth it !!
This is a meat market and also prepare hot food. There are around 8 small tables for dine in.
It is not a place for fancy or casual dine in but a carry out only or quick seat and eat place.
Establishments look clean and organized.
I ordered over $150 food and despite requesting to keep my skewers separate they put 3 together. I also confirmed this once I picked up the order the same girl took my order confirmed but unfortunately it wasn’t ok.
Meat quality is top notch but they don’t come with anything. A small piece of Chicken cream chop cost $11 and adding a fried with it made it $24. I hope management would look into this and fix this.
Customer service seem nice except the error in order taking and handling.
I ordered beef ribeye kebab, chicken kofta, lamb chop, chicken cream chop and baklava
While I ordered I mentioned 3 times that I am allergic to beef but still, they feed me beef.
When I went the first time that did not happen was a good experience since the owner was there and very friendly even offered us a nice open face chicken, but the next time when the owner wasn’t there they got me beef open face when I explicitly asked for chicken… to resolve the issue they just said that happens and sorry staff even spoke to the che… but I had to suffer for the allergies and religions not eating beef. I couldn’t figure out until I finish eating the difference for that open face until I asked for another order…
Where I realized the difference in color. Anyways try on your own risk at this restaurant if you are a specific meat eater….
Also, as others has mentioned this location prices are slightly higher.
