Milano’s Italian Kitchen will be a family-owned restaurant located in West Harwich, opening in May 2024.
Inspired by a family heritage born in Naples, Italy, decades of experience in the hospitality business, and deep local roots in Harwich, we look forward to carrying on tradition.
Milano’s will be serving a variety of authentic Italian dishes made with fresh, high-quality local ingredients.
Our modernized look paired with old-school Italian charm create a unique dining experience that is perfect for any occasion. We are excited to be part of the local community.

The Alfredo was nothing short of exquisite—its consistency, flavor, and portion size offered remarkable value for the price. The sauce was rich and velvety, a true highlight of the dish. However, the garlic, while bold, slightly overpowered the otherwise masterful balance of flavors. A touch less would have allowed the sauce’s nuance to truly shine.
As for dessert, the experience fell slightly short of the elevated tone set by the main course. A pre-frozen option felt like a missed opportunity; a house-made dessert would have better aligned with the luxurious ambiance the restaurant strives to create.
Service was impeccable—attentive, warm, and professional throughout. The atmosphere was overall enjoyable, though the vibe felt a bit inconsistent at times. Still, a memorable dining experience with standout moments.

Early Dinner Delight at Milano’s Italian Kitchen
My husband managed to snag us a reservation at Milano’s Italian Kitchen in Harwich–early at 4:45pm–but it turned out to be a perfect time to enjoy a relaxed, cozy dinner. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, and our server Lynne was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home.
We started with cocktails: a classic Negroni for him and a Pineapple Express for me. Both were delicious and paired beautifully with the fresh bread and rich olive oil that arrived shortly after. A simple but satisfying start.
For our appetizer, we shared the calamari fritti. The portion was generous and the calamari was perfectly crisp. The house-made marinara sauce was a standout–tangy, flavorful, and clearly crafted with care.
Dinner was equally impressive. I went with my favorite, the eggplant Parmigiana, and he had the mussels and shrimp bianco special. Both dishes were beautifully prepared and full of flavor. We enjoyed them with glasses of Vecchia Cantina Chianti, which complemented the meal wonderfully. I could only finish about a third of mine, so I’ve got a delicious lunch waiting for me!
Milano’s Italian Kitchen is a gem on Cape Cod–authentic flavors, great service, and a cozy vibe. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable Italian meal, even if you’re dining early!

Went on a Friday night in September. Cocktails were delicious and I appreciated that our sever let us enjoy our drinks while looking over the menu, instead of rushing us. We both got pasta dishes, the spice level in my fra diavlo was perfect. Partner also really enjoyed his alfredo sauce (not too heavy). Only downside was that both of us had overcooked pasta in our dishes, which I think is critical for an italian place to perfect.

Absolutely phenomenal! This restaurant delivered on every front. The atmosphere was truly inviting, and the service was executed with genuine kindness. The food was nothing short of extraordinary; as someone who is quite picky about seafood, I can attest it was cooked to perfection, not overdone. To top it off, the Negroni was one of the best I’ve had in ages—a perfect complement to an incredible meal..

Dark and moody, this Italian restaurant is popular with locals and it helps to have a reservation. We didn’t have one, but were able to be seated at a small table for two right away.
Portion sizes are large. The chicken parmigiana was pretty good, with three good size pieces of chicken.
Service was good and fairly quick for a busy night.

Always loved the Villa Roma and wanted to try the new restaurant. We were finally able to get reservations with friends now that the summer ended. It was great to have Jeanne wait on us as she is a holdover from Villa Roma. She is excellent!
Started with Ceasar salad with white anchovies, lasagna (with an added meatball), and finished with a tiramisu. All three were terrific. My wife had chicken piccata and loved it.
The interior was totally revamped and is beautiful.

This was our first visit for dinner. We had a great dinner with friends. We had the clams casino and eggplant parmasan with a terrific bottle of red for the table. The service was outstanding and it was a fabulous meal for all of us.

Went here for dinner and was utterly disappointed. Looked up the restaurant said it opened at 4. Got there at 4 and was told I can come back or go to the bar for a drink since the kitchen didn’t open until 4:30. Walked by the bar and no staff was there, so chose to
Come back to enjoy dinner. My husband and i both got the Alfredo and found it to be very flavorless and almost watery. Won’t be coming back probably some of the worst Italian. The bread was served warm and was good so that’s one thing they’re doing right

As much as I wanted to 5 star this place, but I just can’t. Our hostess was nice and friendly, we sat outside, which was fine – very nice evening. There was, however, a cute little chubby cheeked boy that didn’t want to leave our table, which was the only available table, but after some bribery by his dad, he finally left. No apologies by the parents, but whatever. We just laughed it off. Our waitress was super nice, brought our drink order promptly, bread and olives. Then things started down hill from there… I asked for more olives, she looked at me and smiled – never got the olives. We ordered our dinner and it took an hour before we were served. Yet, there were other parties, some that came in 15 to 30 min after us, that received their orders while we still waited. The waitress came up to us at one point and apologized for the delay and said the kitchen was backed up… um, I don’t think so, more likely forgot to put the order in? Yes I’m assuming, but when others were served before us… we finally get our food… veal Marsala, which my hubs said had a delicious sauce, but the veal was border line “old.” My vongole was very good no complaints there. Overall, good food (but could be fresher) and not so good service.
