This was our first time here We like to try something different on a regular basis and go to places we’ve never been before. We went for lunch The prices are very good for lunch, The bread is really good The Alfredo sauce is amazing. The marinara sauce to me was a little too liquefied but it still had a decent flavor. The service unfortunately I feel the server had a few distractions and she was not able to recover. However the server was very courteous very nice very respectful and I understand everybody has a bad table where everything goes wrong not a big deal we’re all human. It’s a great place to go for lunch.

A hidden gem, truly 5 stars! Came from Vicksburg and decided to stop in! So glad we did! The Alfredo was DELICIOUS and everything else too, but that shrimp Alfredo was my personal favorite! The staff was friendly and smiling from the moment we walked in and the entire time we were there! Super attentive, generous portions and a restaurant FULL of laughter and joy… and some great Alfredo, if I didn’t mention that already!!

Let me start by saying how great our server was with his customer service skills! Rashard(I think I spelled his named correctly) was super nice and very accommodating. I ordered a shirley temple, (which was the best I’ve had in a very long time) and chicken parmigiana. My chicken parm dish was not great. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was very good..but that chicken was horrible. It was so tough it took forever to cut through and chew. Both my self and my date sent our dishes back, as we could barely eat it. Someone else at my table ordered shrimp Alfredo, which was lacking in flavor. I end up ordering a pizza, which was OK. The sauce again, was really good and the pizza was cooked well! Overall I can’t say this would be a place I would frequent often. I would definitely give it another try though. I think if the cooking was executed well, the whole experience would have been great!
Let me not forget….the breadsticks. They were a nice touch! We ordered a bowl of marinara sauce for dipping.

Came here for the first time, and I was not impressed. Service was not good. (Only 2 in the restaurant at this time). Table was dirty as well as the bread plates. At first glance, it looked really good. I cut into the Stromboli, and it was kind of cold, and cheese wasn’t melted.(attached pics). My guest had the manicotti and thought it was ok. The cannoli was ok. Kind of hard, but the flavor was not bad. Overall disappointed.

Atmosphere is nice date night spot, very intimate setting. Owner is quiet but nice, and he makes very good drinks.
Crystal our waiter was awesome and knowledgeable of meals. Food was THE BOMB!!!! You can tell the dishes are all made fresh with there own ingredients… none of that stuff in a jar….
10/10 on service, and the establishment and the food. Will be returning

Growing up in Jersey, I’ll be honest — I’m pretty hard to impress when it comes to Italian food, and especially pizza. A lot of places in the South just don’t hit the same.
That’s why Milano’s Italian Grill means so much to us.
My wife and I celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary here, and from the moment we walked in, it was clear how much care they put into what they do. Our table was beautifully set with flowers and placemats, the food was outstanding, and the service made the night feel genuinely special — not rushed, not scripted, just thoughtful.
The calamari, chicken piccata, stuffed eggplant, and yes — even the pizza — reminded me why this place feels like home to someone who grew up with real Italian food. They even surprised us at the end, which was incredibly kind and completely unexpected.
Huge thank you to Labi and the entire staff for going above and beyond. Nights like this are why Milano’s isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a place people remember.

Great atmosphere, great service, homey Italian food at reasonable prices and a very reasonable wine list. My wife and I just had dinner here and will definitely come back again our next time in Monroe. The manager was particularly attentive and engaging throughout our dinner. It Reminded us of our dining experiences when living in Napoli many years ago.

Very odd experience. No greeting or goodbye from the host. Lack of a host for seating people as they come in. Food took awhile to come out, but our waitress was nice and apologetic. The food was, well not good. Some reviews claim it is made fresh, I have eaten it, and it is as fresh as a frozen corndog. The bread was nice and the mushroom appetizer was fine.
