Gave me samples of 2 Moscatos, as I was so undecided & enjoy a good Moscato with pasta. There was no need to wait on refills or anything! The food was pretty delicious! Their bread is actually better than olive garden especially since they look the same. The man singing with the saxophone sounded lovely! Definitely recommend!
Our server was just as impressive as the food. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the menu, they made wonderful recommendations and checked in often without ever making us feel rushed. Their warmth and professionalism made the evening even more special.
If you want authentic Italian flavors paired with exceptional service, this is the place to go. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit.
One of the most enjoyable parts of dinner was the man playing his saxophone and singing. His name was Gil and he was awesome. We gave him a cash tip as did others when they were leaving. He deserves 10 stars. They also had interesting tables. The images were somewhat celestial and you could see things you would not expect. We will definitely come back.
What gets me is the prices are high for this place and they have a credit card fee on top of the inflated prices. Makes it a place I would only go for a special occasion, not a regular place for a Friday night dinner.
I haven’t been here for quite awhile so I don’t know when they began serving those horrible Olive Garden-like bread sticks. Doesn’t anybody know how to make garlic bread anymore?!
The service wasn’t great and that alone makes me not want to return. Overattentiveness is a thing.
But now the worst parts! THE ATMOSPHERE and the unexpected UPCHARGE!
The ATMOSPHERE was severely neglected. Intrusive, uncomfortable lighting, cafeteria style tables and chairs and what appeared to be unused junk piled-up way too close to the dinning area.
This placed has deteriorated steadily since the closing of the Leon Springs location. Now THAT was a place worth spending some money.
Now the upcharge!
They are charging a fee for paying with a DEBIT card…THAT’S ILLEGAL!!
According to the Durbin Amendment of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and consumer Protection Act of 2010, no fees may be charged for the use of debit cards as payment. You can look this up and read it for yourself but I’ll share a few highlights of that law.
While it IS legal to charge a processing fee for using a CREDIT card it is NOT legal to charge a fee for DEBIT cards. Even if they use the same processing software and terminals.
That’s because debit is processed the same as cash…INSTANTLY.
When you pay and get your receipt you can immediately go to your mobile banking app and you’ll see that the payment has already processed though it might still be seen in pending. This will happen even if you do not use a pin or provide a signature.
This amounts to fleecing their customers.
And that, my fellow diners is discusting and…ILLEGAL!
I will never knowingly support any company that would do that.
