Milano is now under new ownership and is Amore Mio Italian Restaurant. They have hired most of the staff including the cook so the food is still yummy.

Absolutely the best calzone I’ve ever had. These things are massive! Two meals for sure and they are already priced very well.
I love the wall painting and the overall design. The place is big enough for work lunches and they seem to happen often which is good for them!

Coming in the restaurant was very clean and very comfortable. Could be a little cold for somebody that is a little older. Was fine for me. Food was wonderful and the waiter was very fast. The chef there knows what he’s doing and hope he keeps up the great work.It is very well known for how it is tasting. You can tell that the chef really cares about how everything tastes for how good it is brought to your table. When the waiter brought our drinks we also got piping fresh breadsticks with a delicious Marinera sauce. The sweet tea is amazing. We both had salads with our meal which is well worth the $2.99 for that. The salads were very full flavored in well presented. I had the Lasagna which came to your table piping hot, let it cool down before you start eating. Can’t complain for anything for this restaurant. They’re all very well hospitable and polite, just one feedback would be if the waiter would learn English a little more. The waiter is very nice and polite and very fast at getting you. Refills and bring your dish and also letting you know that it’s hot and be careful didn’t have to ask him for anything to be brought to the table. He was on top of his game the entire time. For everybody in the restaurant.

It was great. The food was really good, the service was exceptional. The portions were very generous. Our food was prepared in a timely manner and served to us quickly.
They serve Pepsi products, but they also have Big Red:-that was a plus for me.

I’m so glad there’s another good fast casual restaurant close to Shepherdsville! The food, service and atmosphere were all wonderful. The only complaint I had was that the tomatoes in the Caprese salad were lackluster but it is the middle of winter. The complimentary breadsticks and marinara were fantastic. We had a fried ravioli for a starter. It was tasty. The antipasto salad was a gargantuan portion as was the calzone. I was too full by the time the server brought out the manicotti for my main to enjoy it but I’m sure it will be great heated up for lunch tomorrow. The portions are insanely huge, especially for the price. We will definitely be back!

Parking, customer service, and the vibe are all good. The food is just okay. We ordered two fettuccine Alfredo’s and they arrived with both sauces having different consistency. The manicotti is good. I’d return if I had to.

Delicious food with prompt, friendly service. I had the lobster langastino pasta. Soooooo good. I couldn’t stop eating it. My son had the lasagna and I am a fan of the marinara sauce, which is on the sweeter side. Lots of ground beef and cheese too. Yum.

Now you want Italian? Look no more; you’ve found the location. I started with the cheese bread, piping hot, it had a really good flavor, and a good portion was served. The I got the calzone; half ham and half pepperoni. Bring an appetite or ask for a box; it’s a generous portion. My wife got a salad and the baked spaghetti.

First time was a charm. And it is close to our house. We have driven past Milano’s several times and decided to give it a try tonight. The menu is full of so many choices! I started my dinner with a Twisted Margarita. It was so good! My husband ordered Lobster Langostino and I had the Lobster Ravioli. The food did not disappoint. We actually had chunky pieces of lobster infused throughout the meal. . . Unlike some other seafood restaurants. The prices were reasonable and we will be back. Pleasantly surprised.

Try the pizza they said, DON’T your not missing anything great.. Maybe it’s because I come from NY and know what pizza is suppose to taste like.
To give you the rundown: Imitation cheese, undercooked dough, sauce taste like spaghetti sauce, and not even good cacciatore sauce. I hope they do traditional Italian dishes better. Oh and apparently you have to pay extra if you want your pizza cut. Good thing kids will eat anything. Will review again when I get a chance to try their pasta.
