The only reason I gave 4 out of 5 is due to service being slow and not very attentive. Other than that the food was very good. We had the Italian appetizer with mozarella sticks, Portobello sticks, and fried calamari. It was very good. The white sauce that tasted like it had horseradish was better than the marinara. The “stuffed” garlic bread was okay. Just a half of a sliced baguette with some cheese in the middle. The poppy seed type dressing was not creamy and more vinaigrette based than I was expecting. The salad was crispy and fresh though. My scallops were HUGE! It was a Friday special and so good! My husband had the pork chops and they were so big and juicy! The risotto on my scallops was good, but slightly chewy. Cocktails were good. Overall, 4/5.

There is a lot left to be desired here. Our server was very nice and inviting to start, but that was the best part. One of our guests has a broken ceramic plate and she was asked if she wanted her meal taken back and remade. She would. They removed and slightly apologized for the inconvenience but they actually joked about this happening a lot with their plates. Really unacceptable. She was left with 3 people who had received their plates , to watch us eat. They came back as her food was ready and asked if she would like it in a to go since we were all finished eating. She really had no choice and said yes.

It was lovely! The atmosphere was calming, the food was amazing, and I will definitely be coming back. Our waitress was so nice & polite, always there right when we needed her! The food was so nice & authentic with a lovely earthy taste, the bread they have is so mild but sweet with the butter on it. And everything came through pretty quickly too! Definitely stop by when you have the time.

Although a bus boy gave us water, we waited 10 mins for a waitress to take our order. When she did, we ordered the portabella sticks (tasty, good amt & dip was yum) for an app. My son ordered the ravioli, it was undercooked. I got the lasagna. It did not have ricotta. It was okay, not great. The sauce was a nice gravy. Our dinners came with house salads & we asked for ceasar dressing, which was delicious. For dessert, he got the carrot cake, which he liked & I got the tiramisu, which I enjoyed.

I chose a seafood with angel hair pasta dish. Usually a dish like this would be mainly pasta with a seafood garnishment. With this dish, I had to move the seafood to find the pasta. The seafood portion was quite generous. The price was a value at $22.

My food came out beautifully! The problem was it was served on a chipped plate. It was chipped in the middle of the plate with food over it! From the way the other server spoke, this happens quite a bit! No manager came to speak to us. No reparations as far as discounts were issued. They did replace my food in a takeout container, but I was expecting them to discount my dinner for the inconvenience of possible contamination of ceramic bits in my food. I was unable to enjoy my meal with everyone else at the table.

Great experience here. We had the family room reserved for a group of 20 and they did a fantastic job taking care of us. Food was top notch – we had steaks and chicken Parmesan. Price was a little high and it took 45 minutes to get our food, but the atmosphere was great and Brittany was an excellent waitress.

It’s a great italian restaurant in Lima. The spaghetti with meatballs and the fettuccine alfredo were fabulous. Our waitress was fantastic with great service and some jokes. I would highly recommend and can’t wait to come back.

The quality and taste of food at Milano Café was exquisite. From the appetizer to the dessert and everything in between, my tastebuds were amazed with all the amazing flavours their Italian food had to offer. It took me a while to order from the menu as I personally could have eaten eveything listed. The staff were amazing and professional. As for the restaurant itself, it had a slightly dated interior but fear not, as your mind will be on the food. I totally recommend this place.
