We stopped in for coffee and breakfast and left with much more. The food and coffee are delicious. The staff friendly and engaging. They have local merchandise and locally sourced baked goods.
Their mission is impressive! We couldn’t help but pay it forward. See our pics for more. We are traveling across country and we try to stop at as many independent coffee shops as possible. This one will stay in our memories.

Great Monday morning coffee (actually ask about the exotic lattes – I had the Black Forest!!) and breakfast burritos. See how scrumptious they are (photos attached). And if you need a quick gift for someone special they have you covered. Great vibe and dedicated to the community. Great job team Milagros!

This is an amazing place with some of the best tasting coffee, pastries and food ever, plus they help support those in need in the community. How cool is that. Check it out

Wonderful place that we just happened on by chance. Local artist handcrafts such as crochet and sewed goods as well as stickers and jewelry. great coffee and hot drinks and the profits go to building the community! Was so happy to find this place and though I am probably not passing through the area again any time soon, I recommend anyone visiting Alamosa to drop in!

Bright and beautiful on the inside. Great artwork featured on the walls. It’s still a pretentious coffee shop with the irony of social justice spread everywhere but apathy with any customer that they aren’t familiar with. Decent latte.

A Unique Gem Among the Usual Stops

Milagros Coffee Shop in Alamosa Colorado was a true highlight on our road trip from California to Denver, standing out in a sea of Starbucks stops. The café exudes charm and individuality, offering a welcome respite with its cozy ambiance and thoughtful menu.

Our server, Shiva (or perhaps Chevonne?), was as divine as her name implies. She made sure my chai latte was perfect and went the extra mile to craft my husband’s butter coffee just right. Her attentiveness added a personal touch that elevated our experience & we had a really interesting chat to her about traveling and her suggestions for the rest of our drive.

To top it off, 100% of the café’s net profits support local non-profits, making each cup of coffee feel even more meaningful.

If you’re looking for great coffee, friendly service, and a place with heart, Milagros is a must-visit. Worth the stop!

Good coffee. Try their grain bread. The ingredients were fresh. The day I went there was only one barista so the coffee order took time.

Loved this coffee shop. Convenient location, relaxing atmosphere, kind and friendly service. Lattes were hot and delicious, and the Rueben panini and BLTA sandwiches we had were the best! If we lived nearby we would be regular customers.

I like this coffee shop, but they really need to update the prices on their in-store menu. Online prices being different is normal, but the prices on the board inside the shop should match what customers are actually charged.
I ordered a coffee that was listed as $5.96 on their menu board. When I went to pay, it rang up as $6.49 before tax. The cashier tried to say it was “tax,” but the tax was clearly shown separately at the bottom of the receipt. I even pointed out the price on the board, and instead of acknowledging it, I was told it was because I got a bigger size—even though the board *already* listed that size as $5.96.
It’s frustrating to be charged more than what’s advertised. I just hope they update their menu board so customers aren’t overcharged or confused.

I am not much on frilly coffee drinks. I drink it black. Purty much always. That being said I have never heard a bad word when it comes to those things out of the mouths of the customers. The coffee is great and I love the option of light or dark. The atmosphere is terrific just kind of wraps you up inside. Just a great place through and through.
