Milagro is truly a hidden gem right in the heart of Duval Street. Owned by local couple Kevin and Magdalena Montoya, this restaurant radiates the passion, dedication, and heart they’ve poured into it. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance feels warm, inviting, and thoughtfully curated, the kind of place where you instantly know you’re in for something special.
Chef Kevin works pure magic in the kitchen, offering an inspired menu that beautifully blends American classics with Spanish influences. The variety is impressive, with everything from fresh seafood to one of the best prime ribs I’ve ever had, alongside creative Spanish fusion dishes like open-faced enchiladas.
We started with several appetizers, including the grilled octopus, tuna crudo, French onion soup, and fresh beats salad, each dish was perfectly executed and full of flavor. For our entrées, we enjoyed filet medallions, shrimp, and swordfish steak, all cooked flawlessly and plated beautifully.
The cocktails were just as memorable. The strawberry gimlet was refreshing and balanced, while the cucumber chili margarita had the perfect mix of cool and spicy, absolutely delicious.
A special shoutout to our server, Sylvia, who was attentive, knowledgeable, and offered excellent recommendations that made our experience even better.

Best meal we’ve had to date in Key West! Julio was amazing and made our entire experience. We sat inside where it was quiet from the streets. It was cozy Latin vibes with bright colored walls and paintings. The food was phenomenal from tapas to entrees to deserts. We caught the happy hour and were able to take our free drink to go! If you never had octopus, this is the place to try it and will set the bar really high. All around a memorable experience and classy place to check out Duval street.

It is a Quaint restaurant with beautiful culinary artistry. The dishes are delicious and created with eye pleasing intent. Service was great. Maggie made us feel like we were dining at her home which was a sweet touch. We had a lovely night!

We had a long drive to Key West. We hadn’t had much to eat that day so we were pretty hungry. It was a busy night and they got us right in. Maggie our waitress was awesome. Very attentive and knowledgeable. I have Gluten issues and she/ they were able to accommodate me. All the staff were very friendly and eager to make our night a good experience. I had the Ribeye and a Cosmopolitan, 5 out of 5. My mom had the swordfish which she said was a 5 out of 5. The flourless chocolate cake was a perfect end to a perfect dinner. Highly recommend!

THE FOOD!!! Definitely the best restaurant in key west. Best of the night was the filet mignon with shrimp! We got the tuna, meatballs, tacos, iceberg salad. We loved it all. Happy hour was insane with the deals! Dessert we got the bread pudding it was delicious. But again the prices were so low for the quality. We will be back again. Couldn’t be happier with the service! And buy one get one drinks, my family probably had 8 margs, a blast!

I am a local and this is one of my favorite Happy Hour spots. They offer BOGO on a wide selection of drinks (martinis, beers, wines, rail cocktails, etc.) My favorite is the Espresso Martini and my fiancé likes the dirty martini with extra bleu cheese olives. Happy Hour is 5-6:30pm, which is nice it’s a bit later than some other restaurants in the area.
The bartender Sylvia is very friendly, attentive and makes great drinks. We have not tried the food yet, but looking over the menu, there are many items I would like to try. I will be a regular customer here and recommend this place to all!

Consistently incredible experiences here! This is the third time that we’ve visited Milagro and in their second location. The food at this place is of the absolute best quality and their chef is a genius! We enjoyed a wedge salad which was delicious with their homemade dressing, a French onion soup which was one of the best we’ve eaten anywhere and the stacked blue corn braised short rib enchiladas which were the best we’ve ever had, the sauce was phenomenal and the dish melted in your mouth. The location itself is beautiful and they’ve worked hard to renovate the building (we saw it prior to their moving in there) and it’s beautiful and inviting inside. The atmosphere inside his warm and inviting with a contemporary twist. All of the surfaces beautiful and the artwork was lovely as well. The service here is impeccable, The hostess and serving staff were attentive and efficient and all made us feel welcomed and appreciated. The seating here is very comfortable while just beautiful and I’d say simply elegant. The bathrooms are pristine and beautiful as well. This new location on Duval is amazing and they’ve done so very well. We visit Key West regularly and this place, since we found it, is our regular go to. Hands-down one of the BEST places to eat in Key West!
