The food was exceptional. Our host went the night prior with a small team and enjoyed it so much she insisted we all come the next night… and so we did, all 13 of us.
Sashimi Tina was cooked perfect with a light seer. We ordered 17 different rolls and not one concern or complaint. Go… enjoy… over indulge!
He said he’d check it out. But they at no point made to fix the problem. They left me with the burnt roll, not offering me a new one or removing it. I’m just disappointed, as I felt very brushed off.
The menu is packed with favorites. The Tempura Green Beans are crisp and flavorful, the BBQ White Tuna is smoky and rich, and the Freaky Edamame adds a unique twist to a classic starter. They also offer plenty of gluten-free and vegetarian options, making it a great choice for everyone.
For something light yet bold, the Albacore Pepperfin is a must-try, with thinly sliced albacore tuna, citrus soy dressing, and jalapeños for the perfect balance of freshness and heat. Spice lovers will enjoy the Spicy Combo, featuring BBQ White Tuna, a Spicy Tuna Roll, and a Midtown Roll—each bite packed with flavor. If you’re looking for something indulgent, the Annie Roll and Incredible Roll both layer spicy tuna, panko shrimp, avocado, fresh fish, and a torch-seared finish, creating the perfect combination of texture and taste.
While the parking lot can be tight and sometimes tricky to navigate, a spot usually opens up if you’re patient. And while it can get busy during peak times, the wait is never too long—and always worth it.
Mikuni on Hazel isn’t just a sushi restaurant; it’s a piece of local history. Whether it’s your first visit or your hundredth, this spot always delivers a fun and delicious experience.
We were sitting at the bar, so I could see part of the sushi kitchen, be honest not helpful for the appetite. The chef touched the glass handle during making sushi and went back direct the the sushi again without clean hand.
The sushi served before the appetizer; the check came before desert; desert we ordered mochi combo that contains three different flavor. But they only had strawberry mochi and I said I don’t mind get all strawberry. And YES, I got one strawberry mocha cutter into two.
