Mikoto has the best Pork Chashu Buns that exist!! I can go and just get 3 of them and be so happy! Their sushi is solid, and really everything i have had here is pretty good. The vibe and service are great as well. Overall I give them an 8.4/10 but the pork Chashu buns are literally a 9.8/10. Those things are to die for.

Love the pork in the spicy curry ramen. Music today was Japanese and fun. I usually bring a jacket with my wife who gets cold. Tacoyaki is always fun to watch when it comes out. The fish flakes move from the heat. A regular spot for me!!

My wife and I have been looking for a good ramen place. This was it. The minute we walked in, we were greeted and seated right away. They provide water the minute you are situated and wait until you are ready to order. Very respectful and honesty the best service I had from anyone in a very long time. My wife had the Purple sweet potato coconut milk bubble tea, and it was absolutely delicious. (It comes with a cup to take home) We went with spring rolls and Cow Boy sushi rolls to start and they were amazing, but the minute we got our Ramen what we been waiting for it was worth the wait. We went with the Miso Ramen and spicy chicken ramen with two side orders of fish cakes. It was incredible the flavor was spot on, and the fish cakes just paired so well with the broth. We finished it off with an order of the Tempura ice cream. I will recommend this place to anyone. The whole experience was worth every dollar. Must try!!!

Don’t think I’ve ever wanted to cook my own food more than after coming here. Really missing my boxed golden curry right about now too. Curry tonkotsu: bland, watery curry with bland deep fried pork.
Additionally, asked what was in one of the generic sushi rolls and the waitress didn’t know and said they would ask.
I watched them walk around, drop some food off, and came back and said “they (kitchen) couldn’t answer what’s in it”
Probably because you didn’t ask?
And that’s after waiting 10 minutes past our reservation time to be seated and then another 10 minutes to have anyone come ask for an order…
Full 4 person table sat after us got all of their food and we were still waiting.
Maybe it was a bad day, but probably won’t come back here.

I ordered the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen, right amount of spice. Great customer service. Ladies were nice. Didn’t take photos of my food. I was starving . The place is clean , neat and loved the window shades.

I’ve dined in twice & it is always a real treat whenever my jiu jitsu buddies & I can meet up at Mikotos. Firstly, the atmosphere is very cozy and perfect place to enjoy a conversation over your meal, secondly the sushi roll selection is A1 AMAZING. I order any & all of the deep fried rolls but my favorite is the charmander roll. Service is kind and whole heartedly welcoming. Best Japanese food in DFW area, in my opinion.

The Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen has a rich, creamy broth with perfect noodles and good heat. You can request thin or thick noodles, I personally prefer thin. Sushi is fresh and the rolls are flavorful. The drinks are good too!

Clean establishment with cute decorations inside. Authentic Japanese vibes strong with this one

I like how the ramen wasn’t too greasy or oily.

The young male waiter (Hanbin I think) knows what he is doing and super fast w/ his service. I like to usually order quick, eat and immediately get out, he let’s me do exactly that.
I try to tip him well. Hope his work is recognized
