They made the combination plates smaller. I have small hands for a man and you can see the difference. You should have a small and large plate option i stead of msking our food portions smaller. I am a proud lumbee snd hope they change for the better. Great food but don’t charge the sMe price and make the combo plates 25% smaller.

Absolutely the worst customer service!! I’ve been eating at this place for years and I believe they recently switched staff. The new staff is straight up, rude and inconsiderate. After eating the food here for years and recommending it to anyone who loves quality Japanese cuisine, to be treated so nasty is outrageous and I will not be spending my money there henceforth. If I eat at Mikoto’s again, I will have to travel to Fayetteville and I’m fine with that because the Pembroke location is absolute garbage!

Good experience for me. Hadn’t been here in years but the hibachi chicken and shrimp was great, only thing the chicken was in big pieces instead of being cut properly. Overall, everything was pretty good.

This location is hands down the best express Japanese food I have ever had. The restaurant is very inviting as I was greeted by Skyy who took my order when I went in and London prepared my order. They were both very friendly, respectful and professional. I highly recommend eating here or placing a to go order because you will not be disappointed.

For starters the sauces taste store bought. Secondly they have on the menu egg rolls but give you two little spring rolls for $5.00 and they were greasy. I got shrimp and steak hibachi and they gave me 6 small size shrimp not even the jumbo ones. And the food has no flavor what so ever.

I’m so disappointed … purchased a meal for a family for Christmas gift. I ordered 4 plates and 1 bowl… total of 2 ginger and 13 white sauces. All of the sauces were in one bag. When I reached my destination all but 2 sauces were saved the rest was spilled out in the bag. I hated to deliver this to this wonderful family. I tried calling the restaurant could not get through. Today, 12/06/2024 I made a special trip to the rest and explained ; showed my receipt. Manager said all she could do was give me the sauces … WHAT A JOKE!!! I asked for next person in charg. She provided name and number… No answer, no return call so far. This is some of the worst customer service I have received. From now on , I will drive to Laurinburg.

Owners are scared of Covid-19 so only the drive-thru is open and it’s usually ten cars wrapped around the building and a 15 min wait on some so so food that you can make at home if you have a gas stove or Blackstone Grill.
