I have wanted to go here for so long. It was quite a disappointment, I asked about the salad,server said oh they just use iceberg. Wow.
Then I said did use real mashed potatoes. Nope from a box.
Now this was supposed to be home made food. So I will never be back.
I also wanted breakfast that would cost a couple bucks more. Really. The place was not busy at all.

Felicia, the server was attentive to my needs for water and made my experience great. The table I sat myself at had a few crumbs, but she quickly came over and remedied it.

Absolute hidden gem! I’m an out of towner but I love diners. Very casual, neighborhood place. Lots of choices on the menu, service was friendly and excellent. Food was delicious! Omelette was packed with meat and cheese. Sausage patties were delicious and chili was really good. Love places like this! Oh and I asked them to cook in butter instead of vegetable oil and they were cool about it. Thanks! Will definitely return next time I’m in the area!
**update** Been back several times with friends and we all love this place. Nothing fancy, just friendly service, homecooked meals and large portions!

If I could leave zero stars I would. Came into this restaurant to try for the very first time and first ordered a cup of coffee to drink while looking over the menu, ordered breakfast and drink our coffee while we were waiting for our food, the food comes out and previously I heard another customer stating the potatoes were nasty and had no flavor, I figured it was just an opinion and was going to give them a try anyways, the food comes out and mind you I paid $17 for this small portioned breakfast and she was not lying, talk about flavorless almost mashed potatoes and canned corned beef, $2.50 extra to upgrade from toast to French toast and the lady brings out one slice of French toast… After trying a bite of our food we decided this was not where we wanted to eat we attempted to pay for our food so we could just go and the owner came out of the kitchen yelling at us telling us to leave that we are not welcome there another customer was talking to us and he told us we couldn’t talk to the other customers, (which had nothing to do with their establishment) super rude, literally came out yelling at us just because we didn’t care for the food. I would never ever go here again. Response to the owner that responded… You are super unprofessional and it’s a shame that you would chase customers out of your establishment in that manner, I don’t know what you are talking about we were never ever demanding and the waitress was actually very kind. We actually tried to be polite and discreet about not enjoying the taste of the food and just wanting to pay and leave but you made a huge scene, literally a grown man screaming into woman’s faces like a psychopath.

The service was excellent. The food wasn’t hot and it was pretty blah and tasteless. The coffee was just hot water. The only exception was the hot french fries and the pretty good gravy on the pork tenderloin. It wasn’t bad food, it just isn’t anything I’d go back for.

The vibes were alright. A sign reads “Seat Yourself” as you walk in – and on this day, there were plenty of spots in the center tables (all booths taken).
We sat and the waitress, and elderly woman, literally PLOPS the menus in front of us. A bit rude but, okay. She eases up as the meal goes on.
The gravy on the biscuits tasted underdone- floury and very thick. The eggs were dry and runny, somehow (not seasoned).
The Ruben had some bites that were tough and hard to chew. The fries were phenomenal! Crispy and nice.
Maybe next time, I’ll try the Club sandwich or an omelet.

We loved this restaurant. Very cozy and warm atmosphere to sit down and relax and enjoy a great meal. Hot fresh food and friendly staff. You can clearly see that they have regular customers who come here and the proof is in the food. Breakfast all day is always a plus in my eyes and they have some great choices across the board. I’d recommend stopping in here and giving them a try.

If you like simple restaurant food that’s really good and fresh this is the place to go. Had breakfast here ,( the sausage Patty’s are as big as a hamburger Patty)the portions were big and cooked to order. I like grilled onions in my eggs. They made it to order. Coffee Was really good. Service is excellent. Very friendly staff. So glad the foods not all fancy. It’s homemade: ) pretty far out from where we live but I’ll be making the drive when I want good homemade food. We will definitely be coming back. Enjoyed it so much.
