Due to a significant delay on the highway, we decided to take an alternate route and found this little gem of a diner along the way!!! On Sundays, they only serve breakfast and I ordered the Farmers omelette – it was hands down the best I have EVER had. From reviews, I did ask for a side of sausage gravy to try and it was good over a grilled biscuit. Restaurant was small and quaint – very friendly staff ….so happy we stopped!!!

Good morning. And great food! I have been to a lot breakfast places here in Florida, but this one hands down has to be THE BEST!! The service was first class excellent. Avalee greeted me with a smile and choice of wherever I wanted to seat myself. I chose the bar area and was pleased to notice all the other staff was just as pleasant as my server. They have an amazing team that results in food coming out fast, warm, and delicious. The music in the back of the house isn’t loud and obnoxious , instead it’s positive and vibrant. I came alone this time but next time I’ll be back with a party.

Wife and I attempted to have a little bite to eat at this diner. Apparently at this brunch restaurant you cannot order a club sandwich on Sundays. However the sign clearly says lunch starts at 11am.

Small & cozy. Really nice folks. Had their special Peanut Butter & Chocolate Chip pancakes. Delish and HUGE. Two the size of dinner plates. Forgot to get photo. Next time!

I enjoy Mikey’s Family Diner at least once a week. The food is always good, and the service is the very best anywhere.
Servers are familiar with the menu and will ask qualifying questions to ensure your wishes are communicated to Mikey and the kitchen.
They do a great job.
My go-to is the BLT, made the way it should be. I added the fresh fruit cup. My friend Brian, who joins me there most Wednesdays, orders breakfast.
This location is situated in a strip center with easy parking, conveniently located next to the sign that reads ‘Cigar Lounge’. Not to worry, no cigar smell at Mikey’s.
The sign above the entrance is called the Plantation Diner, with a fabric sign that says Mickey’s Family Diner.

Excellent diner to eat weather breakfast or lunch which I have had. You don’t leave hungry for sure and the food is excellent. Try the chicken or steak Swiss Sandwich with Fry’s.
