Such a wonderful hidden gem!!! They are located in Seguin Schoolyard, but so worth the trip. Just be prepared they are super busy and so worth the wait, so if you aren’t a patient person, then you will miss out on a wonderful place. The owners are super friendly and are hard working people. We will definitely be back, with our family and friends. This place is definitely a WONDERFUL PICK. We are food lovers and we have nothing but wonderful words to say about this place. We had an amazing experience at Mikey’s Philly Cheesesteaks! The cheesesteaks were outstanding and very filling. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the Christian music created such a positive environment. You can tell they care about both their food and their customers. This spot is now one of our favorites!

The atmosphere was relaxing once you go into the restaurant, music playing, some decor but not overwhelming. The staff was friendly and attentive when ordering and serving. The Brotherly Love sandwich was delicious (still sort of drooling regarding the sautéed mushrooms).

This is the second time I’ve been here. The first time made such an impression, my coworker and i were craving it for lunch. Placed a pick up order for 11:30. Upon arrival at expected time, the cashier let me know the cook was running late. No big deal, i wasn’t in a rush to get back to work. Owner was kind enough to offer a beverage and upgraded my small sandwich to a large for the inconvenience. Great customer service and experience, not to mention food tastes fresh and delicious. Truly a gem of seguin!

My husband and I stopped into Mikey’s on a whim, and I’m so glad I did! The staff couldn’t have been friendlier! Since it was my first time, I needed a little help with the menu. The Brotherly Love was recommended, and it turned out to be absolutely delicious!
As someone who’s had many Philly cheesesteaks in Philadelphia, I’m picky about getting the real deal and Mikey’s absolutely did not disappoint. The steak was tender, the bread was perfectly soft in the inside and crispy on the outside, and the flavor was exactly what you hope for when you’re craving an authentic Philly cheesesteak.
If you’re anywhere near Seguin, make sure you stop by. Great people, great food, and definitely worth the visit!!!

Great guy that served: friendly, and seemed intent on really delivering a great product. He appeared to be really intent on hearing what I thought of the sandwich.
I preferred the biggest cheese steak at $18.50. I asked for provolone but light. The staff person clarified that I wanted provolone.
It’s great they have a pager system so you could wander the schoolyard area or watch the jumbo TV screen out in the yard while you wait for the sandwich to be prepared.
The sandwich came out hot, well-prepared, and nicely packaged. After I left and sat down to eat it, though, I realized there was no cheese that I could tell, and very few peppers. It had appealing flavoring and the meat was tender and plentiful.
My only gripe is that for $20 (after taxes), it still seemed like a lot for a sandwich sans fries or a drink. I would go back if in the area but might try another cheese steak outfit first before this place based on the price.

I stopped here while traveling and looking for food in the area. Once I saw the reviews, I knew I had to stop and try a cheesesteak. Being from the northeast, I’m very particular with my cheesesteaks. This was one of, if not the best cheesesteaks I’ve had so far in Texas. The meat was super flavorful, chopped up nice and the bun was warm and soft. Also, the Cajun fries were delicious! Definitely recommend stopping here if you’re in the area. Great food, service and atmosphere.

Amazing food, and great people. It was a bummer that the indoor seating was closed, as it was freezing and windy outside so we chose to bring the food home and warm up in the air fryer. But, other than that it was a great first visit. Kiddo loved the playground. Will come back on a warmer day to enjoy the atmosphere outside.
