Atmosphere- 5 stars- this quant little eatery resides in an old building on the end of the Mid-City bridge located on the West side of Fairmont WV. The inside has been redone making it a modern yet cozy area decorated with photos of well known chefs and vines of white flowers accented with white lights strung on the wall. The place is super clean and offers a small area with deserts and bakery items.
Service- 5 stars- Kevin was our waiter and he was friendly and very attentive.
Food- 5 stars- they offer daily specials and a decent beer and wine list. I had the dirty rice with chicken, beef and hot peppers. It was awesome. It must be a popular dish because I saw many people ordering it. I also had the roasted red pepper chicken bisque for a starter and again it was delicious. My wife got the blackened chicken breast sandwich with Swiss cheese and a side of fries. She said it was one of the best chicken sandwiches she had ever had.
I would highly recommend stopping here. From what I understand it’s get quite busy in the evenings. We went mid afternoon and beat the rush.

We took friends there from out of town. They were pleasantly surprised. I had the best strip steak I’ve ever eaten. My friend got a rib eye and also remarked that it was the best he’s ever eaten. We are both old codgers and have eaten a lot of steaks. The staff is friendly, deserts are excellent. The parking is adequate but just barely. Open air atmosphere, no booths or dividers. Prices are fair.

I’ve been a few times now and would recommend this place to anyone. Food is fantastic per usual and the service is even better. I always feel welcomed and my server was amazing last night. She explained gluten free options thoroughly when asked about them. She made me a nonalcoholic (I asked for NA) key lime pie margarita and it was delicious. Great portions and the food is always plated so beautiful.

Steak and Brie sandwich: wonderful bread with a crusty outside and soft inside. The steak inside was good – hoagie style – with melted brie and fig jam. Personally I would use a little less fig jam, as it was a bit too sweet. Lobster bisque, a creamy, smooth concoction with generous bits of lobster., shallots, and very rich with real cream. The Reuben sandwich was tasty however a bit more saurekraut would make it perfect. Key lime pie was awesome, and real!

I had the pleasure of dining at Mikey C’s and I can’t say enough great things about it! From start to finish, the experience was top-notch. The food was absolutely fantastic, and the service was impeccable. As someone with a gluten allergy, I was thrilled to see that they offered several gluten-free options. I tried the gluten-free seafood mac ‘n’ cheese, and it was *incredible*—rich, creamy, and packed with flavor.
The chicken sandwich and the blackened chicken with hot peppers were also out of this world—perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of, and it really made the whole meal even more enjoyable.

What an amazing place! I really don’t know where to start! Service? Top notch! Food? Best I’ve ever had, no lies. Drinks? How do you make a sangria taste like pumpkin pie?? Sorcery! Dessert? I would go back just for this (and I will, daddy likes his sweets).
I’ve given places 5 stars before but now I know that I never knew what it meant. This place is 5 stars, perfect! Highly recommended, I wish them nothing but the best! I can’t wait to go back.

Had a great meal for bday/ vday. Prime rib special was very good. Loved how they put the au jus on the meat. So tender. Sides were also very good. Jambalaya is just as good as remembered. We parked behind the old rambling root as parking is limited. Ordered a slice of key lime pie for dessert. It was incredible. It was a different take with a delicious lime flavored meringue topping. The center creamy part reminded me more of cheesecake. The Graham crust was so buttery good and definitely homemade. Can’t wait to come back!!

I had Bruschetta, Gumbo, and a Steak and Brie sandwich. All of them were wonderful. Get in here for some really good lunch, and at a pretty good price.
