Looking for seafood in the mountains? While in Blairsville, Ga, stop by Mike’s Seafood Market and Grill. They offer pick up, to go orders, or dine in. Our lunch was awesome and the staff was friendly. Great fried fish! Try the dip!

The food was excellent. Counter service, food brought to your table. This place stays busy, but worth the wait in line. Do yourself a favor, review the menu prior to reaching the counter.
We dined on the mahi mahi spread, snow crab, and captain’s plate. The food was very good and worth the wait.

Food was excellent, Without a doubt, one of the best seafood restaurants I’ve ever eaten in. I’ve been to Oceanside restaurants and this place blows those away. The manager not sure if it’s Mike or not, but he is very in tune with his customers walking around asking everyone how everything is very impressive. Food was very, very tasty. Very well worth an inland fish restaurant

What a cool place! You have to order and they will give you a buzzer so that when your food is ready you just hold up the buzzer. We got the crab fritters and the Captains plate. You can choose between 3 items with 2 sides and comes with 2 hushpuppies. Food was good and loved their sweet tea. If you are in the area check them out.

We have been going to Mike’s with our friends almost every month for well over a year (yes, we are all locals). Last night it was absolutely horrible. Everything was delivered cold, the owner came around, but before I could get a word out he walked away. The cod dinner portion that I ordered was very small, thin and overcooked. Every time my friends get the baked potato, it is at best several days old. I ordered the steamed shrimp and a piece of fish (cod, dinner portion). My husband said get the fries and onion rings. We received 3 onion rings and the fries were not edible. They were old, cold and pure rubber. The sides really have been terrible for quite some time. The twice baked potato salad is made from very old potatoes.
Unfortunately Mike’s has turned into another Blairsville tourist trap. Overpriced poor food and service. And, they really don’t care.
And to top it off, it was about 7:30 on a Friday night and the staff was making so much noise moving chairs and putting them on the tables to sweep for closing you wouldn’t be able to enjoy your meal even if it was good.
They also must not believe in heat. It was pretty cold last night and it was very cold in the restaurant. Actually, no one at the table took their coat off.
Another huge disappointment in this small town, now with no seafood restaurants.

Wow! A classy and spacious seafood market in the mountains! What a find! I’m from the south and all the seafood we had here gave us the same southern charm feel with the efficiency of a NE lobster pound. Order at the counter and they bring your food to you when it’s hot and ready. Great selection and fresh seafood in the mountains is a mountain magic trick!! Give them a try and you will be glad you did. The menu is quite extensive for young and old palettes. I’ve had their shrimp tacos, mahi dinners, swordfish, smoked salmon Caesar salad and always love their yeah puppies! This place beats the hundreds of seafood restaurants I’ve been to living in Florida for 50 years.
We have been here a dozen times, but at the last visit the Mahi was disappointing. It was very tough, over cooked, and hard to press a fork through, but everything else ordered was great.

Great food for a fair price. Smoked salmon dip is amazing and the fried oyster po boy was great. The only thing I can say negative about this place is that the oyster po boy was $19.95 and only had 7 small oysters on it. Portion could’ve been more fair for the price.

Lots of food and prices are on point with similar restaurants. The Mates Platter was plentiful with shrimp and oysters, sides of pasta salad, and onion rings. The shrimp was excellent and good size. The oysters were small, too much breading and overcooked, as was the calamari appetizer. The onion rings were very good. We also had the Mahi grilled sandwich with a side salad. The sandwich was very good, as was the salad. We’ll try some other menu items next time.

First time here, and it was for lunch. Counter service – super helpful about the order of operation. Grouper and salmon sandwich were awesome. Clam chowder is a must-have. Can’t wait to come back for dinner.

We got there 30 minutes early and were 1st in line. Our food was prepared as ordered and the staff were friendly. I had the Mahi Mahi blackened with lemon pepper, and it was delicious. I don’t normally eat hushpuppies, but I did today. They were so good. Highly recommend Mike’s Seafood.
