Walk in and the energy hits you first — the aroma of spice and butter, steamy bags landing on tables, and a lively mix of families and friends cracking shells and telling stories. TVs hum in the background, buckets and gloves at the ready, and the room moves with that easy Houston rhythm.

The Food
Fresh, hot, and full of flavor. Seasonings are clean and well-balanced, from mild to turn-up-the-heat, with a buttery richness that doesn’t overpower. Fried options come out crisp, sides are straightforward and satisfying, and everything feels built for sharing. It’s generous, messy-in-a-good-way seafood that leaves you happy, not heavy.

Service & Atmosphere
Fast, upbeat, and on top of the details — extra napkins before you ask, checks on heat levels, and quick refills. The vibe is casual and celebratory, equally good for a weeknight craving or a group feast.

More Details
• Vegetarian options: Limited, but there are a few sides and non-seafood items; ask staff for suggestions.
• Dietary restrictions: Shellfish, dairy, and gluten are common; spice and butter levels can be adjusted. Cross-contact likely in a boil kitchen.
• Parking: Ample lot parking along the Highway 6 strip; peak dinner hours can get busy.
• Kid-friendliness: Very — lively room, shareable platters, and quick service.
• Wheelchair accessibility: Ground-level entry with wide aisles; staff will help arrange an accessible table.

Final Take
A crowd-pleasing Houston seafood boil experience done right — fresh product, dialed seasonings, and warm hospitality. Five stars for flavor, pace, and that “let’s dig in” atmosphere.

”Absolute 5-star experience! We came specifically for the crawfish, and they did not disappoint. The spice level was perfect—intense but didn’t mask the natural sweetness of the mudbugs. They were easy to peel and soaked in a delicious garlic butter blend. The fried catfish was also a standout; the breading was light and crispy, not greasy at all. This is our new go-to Friday night spot!”Whether fried, grilled, or blackened, the hallmark of great fish is moisture retention. 5-star fish has a “clean” taste with no “fishy” aftertaste. If it’s fried, the crust should provide a distinct snap that contrasts with the tender interior. The highlight, however, was the crawfish. The seasoning actually gets inside the shell, which is hard to find. Don’t skip the corn and potatoes—they soak up all that incredible boil juice. 10/10!”

I spent 28 dollars plus a tip for this. Literally two eggs and two sausages when I ordered 3 of everything yesterday, eggs, sausage and corn. I got two sausage and two eggs for 28 dollars?… It’s cool. I will take BB’s bland Cajun food over not giving me my correct order. Done!!!

Just get the boiled seafood. My whole family love it here. Customer service needs to be improved. We waited over an hour to get our food because their machine was down. They never made it. They offered 10% discount for the future order…. lol Time is money…is not…

I ordered takeout and had to wait a long time for my food. When I finally got home and checked my order, I found that the shrimp fried rice was extremely greasy—so much so that the grease could be drained from it. Fries was cold, no seasoning almost burnt looking. I also ordered a 13-count of boiled shrimp, but when I ate one, it was mushy. I tried another, and it was the same. When I smelled the food, it had a foul odor, almost like vomit.

I immediately called the restaurant to inform them and request a refund, but they only offered to replace the shrimp fried rice, not the boiled shrimp, because I had eaten some. I questioned why that mattered—were they planning to give it to someone else? The person on the phone had no answer. After speaking with the manager, they refused to issue a refund.

Please stay away from this place! I strongly suspect they are reselling returned food to other customers!

I usually boil my own crawfish at home and invite about a dozen people to feast, but if you know about hosting a crawfish boil…IT IS A LOT OF WORK!! There’s only a couple of seafood spots that I hit up when I want good crawfish without the legwork, and Mike’s Seafood is definitely one of them.

Finally, it’s deep enough in the season where the crawfish size is nice and big, so we’ve already visited here a handful of times this year. We always order the medium spice garlic flavor. Although it’s “medium,” it still has a nice kick to it, so be cautious before ordering spicy. If you’re not used to the heat, you may experience bubble guts later!

We usually order the Seafood Platter that offers a little bit of everything, but this time, they did not include crawfish in the order because of the limited supply of crawfish. We ordered separate orders of the boiled shrimp, mussels, corn, sausage and potatoes along with the crawish.

Everything has good flavor and is boiled nicely and not overcooked. They season the seafood properly during the actual boil and don’t try and over compensate on the spice level by just pouring crawfish seasoning on the top of the shell of a bland boil. They know what they are doing. They have good prices on bottled beers, but the pitcher price is also nice for sharing with a large group. I’m glad we have this location near my house. It’s a life saver for seafood lovers!

I waited for my food for an hour while those kids joked around behind the counter. The customer service was bad. I asked those kids if my food was ready, and they gave me attitude. I heard one of the girls’ names; it was “Catherine.” She was doing nothing but being on her phone the entire time and talking with her friends instead of working, even though the place was a mess. I think I saw a rat in the corner of the restaurant and rat droppings under my table.

The restaurant was filthy, the tables weren’t cleaned, and I saw one illegal go to the back. Then I saw a bunch of them working. There was no music, half the TVs were black or off, and the food was still terrible. The tray was greasy, and they just threw everything in my bag. The outside space had flies everywhere the tables weren’t cleaned and it was all together dirty and nasty I got recommended here by my friend that I have blocked since going there I’ve been sick every since going there and I’ll never be back and I’m pretty sure I have food poisoning. If I could figure out how to work this phone I’d put pictures on this thing but I don’t know how to

I stopped here about a week ago because I was craving some shrimp fried rice and I hadn’t eaten here in a while, so I thought I would stop by and patronize them. However when I started to scan over the menu, I saw crawfish fried rice and I thought that sounded delicious. So, I switched from shrimp fried rice to crawfish fried rice and I’m glad I did.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by two young ladies who welcomed me in. I didn’t get their names but they appeared to be high school age. I was impressed by how they handled me professionally and they were well-mannered. I inquired about the crawfish rice, asking them both if they’ve tried it before and if it’s good or not. Both girls said they had tried it, and that it’s delicious, and they really liked it. After that, I was highly convinced to give it a try. They took my order, asked for my name, and informed me that there would be a ten minute wait time.

When my order was ready, they called my name and it was ready in ten minutes as promised. If I hadn’t been in a hurry, I would have dined in. The place wasn’t too busy and it was really nice and quiet with a few TV monitors along the walls for entertainment.

When I got in my car to leave, I couldn’t wait to get home to try the rice because of the tantalizing seafood aromas floating in the air. So, I opened it and took a peek. Why did I do that? OMG, I had to take a bite right there in the parking lot. It looked so appetizing and inviting, lol. I literally was sitting in the parking lot in my truck going in on that Crawfish fried rice, forgetting that I was in a hurry. It was absolutely delicious, a little heavy on the salt, but still delicious. The seafood flavors were evident in each and every scrumptious bite. Also, it was extremely plentiful with crawfish, almost to the point where there was more crawfish to rice ratio. They were not stingy with the crawfish at all, which is a surprise because most seafood places will stiff you by giving you 20 pounds of rice and five pieces of shrimp, lol. Not to mention, I purchased a medium size Crawfish Fried Rice but it was so much rice and crawfish, enough to feed at least three to four people as a side dish. I can just imagine what their large fried rice looks like. Geez!

Overall, this establishment has some great tasting seafood dinners and a clean dining area. Customer service is really good. Like I mentioned previously, the two young ladies that waited on me were greeting each customer as they entered the restaurant. They were friendly and welcoming. The prices are pretty reasonable as well. I paid $11 for a medium size crawfish fried rice and it was well worth it. In the past, I’ve had their shrimp fried rice which was also delicious and plentiful. They also have lime pepper wings on the menu which are incredibly mouthwatering and tantalizing. The fried oysters are as equally delicious and fried to perfection! They’re definitely a must-try item. I highly recommend this establishment.

This looks like a fast food place when you drive up but don’t be fooled! The food is amazing as is the service. I thought they undercharged me but no it is just incredibly reasonable. I had 6 huge, delicious fried shrimp and enough yummy fries for 3 people for $8. My husband had a huge piece of grilled salmon, 6 grilled shrimp and fabulous rice for $20. Best seafood secret near Houston! I wish I lived closer than Kansas.
And Yaritza is as polite and helpful as she is gorgeous!
Tips can only be cash so as we had no cash on us I am sending them $$ in the mail – it was that good!!
