This is my new favorite quick and comfortable place to eat. I love the fried catfish and oysters. The menu is so big and full of variety and the prices are so good. Needless to say, the food is very delicious. I can’t wait to take my son here, he loves fried catfish. The restaurant is very big with plenty of seating, TVs and a nice, low lighting.

Went here for crawfish on 2/3/26. Staff is not very friendly or welcoming. Ordered crawfish. When I got the food there was a green string in the food. Asked staff to change it they were so rude and said there is no refund on boiled seafood and that they can’t do anything to help. This place only cares about money not customer service. After so many years going here will stop and find a better place.

First time and was very impressed by food, portion and price. Had 3 piece catfish with 3 peice shrimp and fried rice and extra hush puppies. It was alot and can easily be shared. Very good. We will be back!

Went in for crawfish, the flavors was good, the drinks were hitting. And those fries were so crispy. A little more expensive this year, but overall good.

The food was great. The chargrilled oysters were the highlight of the show. On a 1-10 rating I give this place a 9 only because the catfish could have used a little more seasoning but was still good. It’s not fancy but the atmospheres was good. The frozen drink were also good and strong. I highly recommend and I will be visiting again.

After being I in the hospital for a week and desiring some of Mike’s Gumbo on Hwy6 and Bissonert my 76 year old female neighbor was nice enough to drive me to get some gumbo for lunch. When the meal was ready the (Bingo) announcer handed her a hot bowl of rice and a hot container of gumbo. I am undergoing Chemotherapy and had to watch my friend carry these very hot items to the table, never once did he offer her a paper plate or any assistance, least to say MIKE’S has lost a long time customeramd had she been in injured in any way it would be Bingo mans fault and a great expense to the REASTUARANT

I have been coming here for years, yesterday was the first time I wasn’t pleased with my dish. The grease was old and my fries and boudin balls tasted like old grease.The fried rice was very dry, not typical of what I use to. We just threw away what we didn’t like, we didnt want to make a fuss. Hopefully, this is just one bad experience. I’ll be back to give it another go.

I’ve been going to this place since they had the food truck in front of the gas station. Since they got their first brick and mortar location next to the wingstop on the other side of HWY 6. When they were named Fresh Catch. They had the best fried catfish and shrimp in the area. Would visit every time I came home from college.
Unfortunately those days are long gone. This place has fell off. They’re now serving swai as catfish which is completely unethical. I get food costs are rising but I would rather you raise the price than to sell me swai as catfish. The shrimp doesn’t taste like real shrimp. The quality and taste of the food is very poor now. It’s like they’ve lost the passion and pride to make great food. Just completely disappointing experience. A restaurant that I would once brag about to anyone that was willing to listen. I now wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy.
