Boston‘s favorite realtor here with another food review. I already love Mike’s for their roast beef and other items but I had to test out the whole belly clam plate and it did not disappoint. Clearly they changed the oil at this location so it came out fresh and hot. They gave me plenty of extra ketchup and tartar sauce, which is an absolute must. The man at the counter was extremely friendly and the food came out very quickly. I couldn’t even finish all of it, but I would say I made my way through about 3/4 of the plate and about almost all but three of the clams. Portions here are excellent and the price is right. Highly recommend and if you’re ever looking for a house in Everett or the surrounding areas, don’t forget to reach out to me. Top producing Boston Realtor Corey Bashaw.

Famous spot for roast beef. The lady in cash was very kind and helpful. I got the Super Roast Beef 3 way and onion rings. Onion rings needed some salt but the roast beef was great (although a little cheese or mayo would help more).
A solid 7.5-8/10 in my opinion. Great place for a roast beef.

A staple for affordable and speedy bites.
Recently came here on a whim and got the roast beef, pastrami sandwiches, and some fried clam strips. The roast beef itself was tender, though I found the seasoning rather straightforward. Adhering to popular choice, we topped it off with onions and crushed red peppers. While the peppers did inject some heat, they dominated with an unexpected intensity that nearly overshadowed the beef’s flavors.
The sandwich’s bun, dense and doughy, was a bit underwhelming – personally leaning towards lighter, airier textures. However, considering the price point, the overall quality of the sandwiches exceeded my expectations.
As for the Fried Clam Strips, they were decent. A quintessential Boston dish, Mike’s rendition is true to form. While satisfying, it doesn’t particularly stand out in a city where fried clams are somewhat of a culinary rite of passage.
If you’re looking for a quick, wallet-friendly meal, it’s certainly a spot worth considering.

Food was great I loved the super roast beef sandwich it was excellent. However a man was stabbed out the front during our meal. This was horrifying my 3 children who saw this and were scarred for life.
The man lay there bleeding for Atleast 15 minutes before someone helped him and his purse was stolen.
The staff inside said it was common and I’m glad they weren’t traumatised by this. The owner of the store was wounded during the combat. Luckily a member of the Greek community was able to help us.

I love Mike’s. They offer a delicious menu, great roast beef and one of the best grilled chicken sandwiches around. This picture doesn’t capture how tasty this sandwich is, but I highly recommend trying Mike’s. They are also open late too, which is great for those midnight munchies

This place has the best lobster rolls — they’re always fresh, flavorful, and packed with plenty of lobster! The prices are much better than in most places around Boston, and there’s parking available, which is a big plus. It’s also very central and convenient. I always come back here — highly recommend it!
