The most eccentric restaurant in Ohio and most likely the United States. Created in the honor of salt, sugar and grease! If you can’t find something to eat on our menu stay at home and eat. We combined amazing full size meals with an even more amazing themed dining rooms. Grab a beverage and take a tour and realize why dining has to be more than just great food. If you are expecting a fast food experience here you will be disappointed. You see we make each selection from scratch. Each meal you order you are getting a homemade cooked meal not the premade stuff that most of the chain restaurants serve. Come on then sit down relax without a beverage or two and enjoy the total experience. We believe a meal can be better!

Very attentive staff, unique and super cool atmosphere, food was 10/10. The burger was HUGE and delicious. Garlic parm fries were awesome. Mimosa flight, amazing.
My only complaint is that the menu is gigantic… SO. MANY. CHOICES. I had a hard time reading it all and deciding. So, if you’re like me- look at the menu before getting there so you don’t have to send your waitress away multiple times. Other than that, best place in town!

Been here at least a dozen times. How have I not posted a review until now??? I’m writing this review NOT immediately after a visit, but about 3 weeks after our last one.
Here’s the thing, Mike’s has always been a favorite of mine to take friends and family to because it’s such a cool place with a ton of quirky decor and themed rooms. You can’t miss the X-fighter plane right outside the entrance. They have outdoor seating during the warm months, but inside you can also sit and dine inside a bus!
Aside from the experience, they have a massively EXTENSIVE menu! I mean, I’m not exaggerating! Of the many times I’ve been here, I haven’t had the same thing twice. And I’m usually a creature of habit. There is something for literally everyone! The service is always good, the food is always great,… and best of all, their fares are always affordable. I love that I never have to break the bank to come here… and that’s why I keep coming back!

Fun place with a huge menu and TONS to pick from. Would like to go back and try breakfast. Didn’t love the huge thick “smash burger” I got for lunch but the soup was homemade and delicious.

Came to visit my hubby who’s in Kent for work. Stopped in for dinner & OMG we fell in love with this funky, cool, exciting, fun restaurant. I had the bbq pulled pork, waffle & Mac n cheese dinner….it was so big I ate it for 3 days, my son had the meatloaf was enormous & delicious, the hubby had wings the best he’s ever had. Phenomenal joint with great scratch made food that’s great for the soul. Oh and we were seated in the “Irish Room” a private room that was quaint with pictures if Irish celebs too cool.

This was my first time there…and I’m planning on it not being my last. From the X-Wing in the front to the rear quarter hanging on the wall. This place is awesome!
I love Ruben sandwiches, and that’s what I had. I have never had a Ruben like this.
The corned beef was nicely layered between three pieces of bread with the perfect amount of sauerkraut and thousand Island dressing.
I only ate half of the sandwich while I was there with my wife…but I plan to finish it right after I finish my review here.
I look forward to seeing (and eating) more of the menu and seeing more of the decor.

This is such a cool place !! And so many neat things to look at.. especially the Star Wars memorabilia!! And the food was delicious, also. If you are near Kent, you definitely need to stop at Mike’s place!!

This place is awesome. My uncle was very excited to take us here for breakfast . Biggest menu I have ever seen which was a bit of an impediment until my daughter handed me a special menu that has the Bestest Breakfast at $8.99. It was exactly what I wanted, pretty much 2 of every category. Coffee was very good and it kept coming. And there’s even a real X Wing fighter in front. There’s also a shrimping boat and an old Flexible Bus with tables inside it in the restaurant. I might go back to Kent just to go there again!!!

This place has surprisingly good food for the price. Everything we ordered was tasty, well-prepared, and honestly felt like great value compared to other spots around town. It’s nice to find somewhere that doesn’t charge extra just for the location or hype. Portions are good, flavors hit the mark, and it’s casual enough to feel relaxed while still being enjoyable. It’s the kind of spot you can go to anytime and know you’ll get a solid meal without overspending. Definitely a local favorite in my book, and I’ll be coming back.

We travel from 45 mins away just to enjoy their pulled pork nachos! So far everything we have ordered has been amazing.
Portion sizes are great for the price.
I love the atmosphere it’s such a hodge podge of things that don’t make sense but make sense together and it tells a story. I’m excited to get out there and experience their patio this summer. It looks so fun and inviting. It’s almost like a Jimmy buffet song lol.
Service is great, they are fast and friendly. We brought our kiddo up and she absolutely loved it. We have enjoyed visiting on date nights to.
All I can say is it speak volumes when I will happily drive 45 mins any night to enjoy their food. Love when I find a great restaurant with great food, service and vibe.

Came here on a friend’s recommendation while I was visiting, and it lived up to the hype! My friend got the steak sandwich, and wow—it was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. Everything else we tried was just as good, simple but really satisfying. The place has a casual, welcoming vibe that makes it easy to sit back and enjoy your food without any fuss. It’s the kind of spot that feels like a local favorite for a reason. The menu has something for everyone, so you won’t leave disappointed, and the staff are friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Overall, it was a great find and made our visit even better. I’d definitely go back next time I’m in town.
