Do not judge a book by its cover!!! Mike’s looked like a total dive and my wife and I almost moved on, I am glad we gave it a try!!! The food was excellent!!! My chicken wings fell off the bone and had great spicy bbq, my wife’s bbq pork sandwich was perfect, and the fries were seasoned just right!! The staff and other patrons could not have been more friendly and they loved doting on our 2 month old daughter!! The ambience was a unique blend of island decor, old vinyl records, and 3 stooges, what a great find!!!!

This is a neat little hole in the wall. The food is good, the prices are reasonable. If you are coming off the highway it only a minute farther than McDonald’s and well worth it.

We decided to try Mike’s Paradise on my husband’s birthday. We ordered a family pack of pulled pork with all the fixin’s. My husband and other family members liked the food. I wasn’t crazy about the sauce, but the pork itself wasn’t bad.
The service was friendly and pretty fast. Our order was correct. The atmosphere was okay, but the tropical decor was a bit different for a southern BBQ spot. That’s not a problem, just a little odd.
There is Indoor dining, but seating is limited since the place is pretty small.
We will likely give Mike’s another try sometime in the future.

Cool place. Small place but plenty of seating. Vinyl albums on the walls. Good food. Recommended. 3% processing fee added to credit card transactions. Pay with cash if you have it. 🙂

Let’s start with the service. I placed an order over the phone and I pulled in to their drive thru to retrieve it about 10 minutes later. The boy over the phone told me it would be 5-6 minutes. The lady who was at the front wore a green shirt asked me if I had an order. I gave her the name and she comes back and takes my card so I could pay. As I sat there I had been waiting longer and longer and longer. So after about 10 minutes, she comes back looking confused and asked if I had received my drink. I didn’t know it came with a drink so I told her no I did not. She closed the window went around for about 2 minutes and then come back and asked me WHAT I ORDERED. That totally confused me seeing as she had no problem taking my payment when I gave her the name for the order. When I told her what I ordered she looked down at the clip board in front of her and took a green slip of paper off of it and closed the window. After about 5 minutes I got my food and it was not what I expected. The fries tasted plain and soggy like how they are when they’ve been sitting. The grilled chicken on the sandwich had been flattened out so much that it was dry and almost impossible to chew! The bread was soggy and almost mush like. Overall 1/10. Do better !

Food was very tasty, but warning on takeout. Sauce & sides are not individually packaged. It was all in a foam clamshell, placed in a bag. On carrying the bag to car, it slipped sideways.
Hold your container flat, not by bag handles. Unless you want meat sauce slaw & potatoes all in one messy lump. That’s what we got. Tasted good, but looked messy.

Passing through the State of Arkansas, I experienced exceptional service and delightful aromas of barbecue. Although I was initially disappointed by the absence of brisket, the pork, sauce, hush puppies, and cole slaw exceeded my expectations. The fried coconut pie was the perfect conclusion to a memorable dining experience. If I were the proprietor, I would proudly proclaim it as the home of the fried coconut pie and barbecue.

Mike, this was a treat. Your bbq beans had tons of meat it them. That pulled pork sandwich and as out of this world. Loved you had 5-6 choices for sauce’s. You are on my radar now, for reals will stop back by and going to let all my buddies know about your great BBQ! I will be back! I only wish I could give more than 5 Stars

Fries look & taste as if they had been fried in week old oil. Lady charged me extra because I wanted coleslaw on the side. Not extra but on the side! Initially asked about a loaded baked potato but there is always an issue she said the microwave was in use which was crazy because the restaurant was completely empty. Last time she said microwave was broken. Why have it on the menu?? Bbq sandwich was okay but rude lady at the window definitely left a sour taste in my mouth.
