Pizza here is always great! A coworker told me about this place and I tried it one day… to great satisfaction.
I enjoy it enough to drive from Downey about once weekly to grab a pie to take home.
Staff is always friendly… establishment is always clean… however seating & parking is limited. I am sure most of their customer’s are like myself and order take out.
FYI… Their wings are pretty good too. Look forward to trying some of their other menu items.

Wow! I turned into this strip mall to find a new place for lunch, and I found Mike’s Pizza! I probably would not have even noticed it had I not turned into the parking lot. It’s a very understated storefront.
I had cheese pizza with ricotta, and a couple of the fresh garlic knots with marinara. It was delicious! Their crust was spot on, very New York style, with a little bit of crispy and crunchy, and I liked it because the marinara sauce for the knots was not heavily salted.
The service was efficient and friendly, and the tables were clean. The price was good, I was able to get a delicious lunch for under 15 bucks. Highly recommended! I can’t wait to go back!!

We ordered a few things:
Chicken pesto pizza: Absolutely delicious for pesto lovers.
Spicy pepperoni pizza with pineapple: Super spicy but tasted amazing with the pineapple.
Spicy Nana Pasta: Tastes just how you’d imagine a spicy pink sauce to taste. Perfect.
Garlic Cheesy Bread: Can’t go wrong here.
Meatballs: Excellent flavor and really great marinara sauce.
Their portions are really large, and definitely worth the price. Scratches that local NY pizza itch, and would definitely come back. You must try this place!

I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. Take note I am writing this review not even an hour after picking it up and eating some. This pizza is not good. Stiff dense bland crust. The sausage has a weird after taste. And the sauce is flavorless. The garlic knots were bland, very very dry and super dense and stale. I also got a baked ziti, not worth writing about.

This is some really good pizza. Just grabbed a bunch of slices to enjoy. Going back to try the vodka sauce another time. Wish I had gotten 2 slices of cheese it was addictive bc it was so simple. The grandma wasn’t my fave after trying the thinner crust. The bbq chicken had a nice bbq kick and the onions added a great taste.

Love their slices! They sell pizza by the slice or by the box! They sell subs and wings and rolls! Definitely a good place when you’re looking for something quick and tasty they don’t have dine in so everything is to go. I definitely have to go back and try the subs! Parking will be a lot and it’s free!

Ordered pizza and chicken Alfredo for a family get-together and it was a HUGE hit. Everyone kept asking where the food was from and commenting on how good it was. The pizza was fresh and flavorful and the chicken Alfredo was creamy 100% be ordering again.

Absolutely not!! I was born and raised in NYC, so I know how authentic NY pizza looks and tastes like. Mike’s NY Pizzeria doesn’t come close to it. I asked if they were from NY and was told no, he lived there for 9 years. That doesn’t qualify anymore to try and make NY pizza. The photos speak for themselves. This was my first and last visit to this establishment. For someone who has never had authentic NYC pizza, this isn’t anywhere near a substitute. Disgusting!!

Order some pizzas and wings for holiday party they were hot on arrival. Pizza was really good as were the wings. Just beware that the pizzas are very large. I totally over ordered. It’s not a bad thing. It’s a good thing. We have lots of leftovers.

I’ve seen some bad reviews for Mike’s NY Pizza. Not sure why since my experience was actually kind of good and authentic NY. I born and raised NY’er (upper west side). I grew up riding the subway and eating pizza slices. Since moving to LA 5 years ago I haven’t really found good NY pizza. Don’t get me wrong, there’s good pizza in LA but not NY style. I have driven past this place many times but anything called NY pizza usually isn’t. Today I tried it. I was hungry and had just dropped my wife off to get her nails done next door. Wow. Not bad at all and I didn’t even try a fresh pie. Thin crust, good sauce, and little oily from the pepperoni but that’s expected folks for NY pizza. I’ll be back.
