Mike’s La Taqueria is truly a hidden gem. Great service and flavorful food that hits the spot.
I had the street tacos and wow… just like Mexico. Authentic flavor, perfectly seasoned, and done right. My wife had the chicharrón taco and a fajita gordita, and both were packed with flavor and cooked perfectly.
We paired it with a Bloody Mary and a Michelada with Pacifico, and they were so good and just right. Perfect balance and a great complement to the food.
If you’re looking for authentic tacos and a laid-back spot with great service, this place is definitely worth checking out.
For local businesses, reviews and a well maintained Google Business Profile can make a real impact.

This spot is the real deal. Great atmosphere. I love the patio. The drinks and food are both on point, and all the waitresses are sweet and attentive. It’s a true hole in the wall OG spot with delicious, authentic Mexican food. The seafood soup is amazing. so flavorful and packed with goodness.

My husband and I love this place! We love to sit outside and the service is wonderful! Try the crispy tacos. You won’t be disappointed. Parking is a limited but you can park next door. If you go at lunch get there before noon and you will be ok.

The owner totally scams loyal customers out of their food credits, when your order is missing items. I had a $50 credit but he doesn’t keep proper records, and claims the credit is only good for one week but never tells you that until you try to order. When you bring it up, they don’t care at all about the consumer. The manager Vanessa tried to give me at least a $15 credit but the owner refused and said he was not honoring anything acting ugly.
You’ll get one salsa with your food—if that—and then be charged for more. In the Hispanic community, that’s like charging people for ketchup. Completely unacceptable.
My family and I eat out regularly and will NEVER be back. Do yourself a favor and don’t go here. I’ll be letting people in Rosenberg and surrounding areas know about this experience. I hope it was worth not having integrity Mr Mike!!!!

This place is a small gem in Rosenberg. The place is small and has a small parking lot but the food is great. There is an indoors and outdoors area. My wife and I had dinner outdoors and the ambience was great. We had al pastor tacos and they were very delicious. The next morning we went in for menudo. It was delicious. The service both times was also great. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for some authentic Mexican food in a place with good ambience.

My wife and I ordered the parrillada palenque (beef, chicken, and shrimp fajitas) and were able to have 2 tacos each with all of the food provided. All of the meat was cooked evenly and well and the sides were tasty! My wife ordered the Margarita De La Casa and I ordered the mango margarita. Both were excellent, with the mango margarita actually tasting of mango. The salsa that comes with chips is pretty spicy, so be aware.

I was there yesterday with my family! I saw the place because my daughter goes to ballet close and I took her to eat ice cream next to this place! Anyways! I told my husband that we should try it. We went there and were really excited about it, until we got our server! The first lady that approached us was really nice! (Curly, black hair) then we got a grumpy, unpleasant lady, her hair is like dyed orange, she is short, hispanic and white skin. No smiles! Nothing! She asked if we were ready to order we said we had already ordered the drinks with the other lady so I asked her what the difference was between an enchilada and a quesadilla! I am not Mexican and I don’t eat Mexican food at all so my question was genuine. She did not like my question and asked me if I really did not know what the difference was to what I replied that I did not. She made fun of me and refused to answer then my husband interrupted and kind of explained to me what the difference was because he is more food cultured than me I guess. Anyways, she made feel so uncomfortable! Never came to check on us! I did not like her at all! The food and the drinks were delicious!

Here’s an another gem, it mayyyy look like just another ol restaurant but the people and food are just great.
The waitresses are super sweet and check up on your, they give you plenty of food and it was ALL good to me.
I will say parking is difficult, not much parking and getting out was hard too but I’m assuming you could park between them and Mexico lindo
But please give this place a try!
