I love Mike’s! Never been to the one in Oregon City. It was pretty crowded when we left! We got 2 bacon cheeseburgers, tater tots, sweet potato waffle fries, and the cole slaw. Wish we saved room for ice cream. Their sundaes are to die for. Especially soft serve hot chocolate fudge and cherries.

A classic, popular, hot spot for awesome diner burgers and fries. The employees are friendly and good at what they do, they seemed quite organized which is obviously a big plus, as they were VERY busy when we went in! Everything is made IN HOUSE! Umpqua brand ice cream for milkshakes, they also have soft serve ice cream & sundaes. Husband ordered a chipotle sauce burger, I had a classic bacon cheeseburger. If only I lived closer, I would definitely make this my new burger joint choice! This place reminds me of the diner in Grease (the movie!). Every age can be found here from elder to children, all of which were really enjoying their food and the atmosphere. Indoor & outdoor seating available. Lots of people enjoying an ice cream outside on a hot day! Come here, try it!!

This is what my hot dog looked like when I pulled it out of the packaging. I wasn’t especially keen on eating it because of it’s appearance. It tasted okay but definitely had to be eaten with a fork. The shake that I got was pretty good.

How do you put a rating on an icon of local history? Not easy .How far am I willing to drive for a burger and a peanut butter shake? Further than I realized when my local Mike’s suddenly shut down for repairs. It was like someone showing me my favorite Mike’s meal then telling me I couldn’t have it. Of course it was all I could think about so off to Oregon City I went. Apparently a lot of other people did too. Our orders were still fast, and correct. We loved eating at the picnic tables outside, taking our time, eating, laughing and enjoying our summer. It wouldn’t really be summer for us without Mike’s. Hot Fudge, marshmallow and peppermint were our other favorite shake flavors. Oh and when you buy a coffee mug, you get two wooden tokens for an ice cream cone. Meal baskets come with either slaw or a cookie. Fish and chips is good, long dogs are great. Of course they are. It’s Mike’s.

The staff was friendly. The food could have been better. They have an extensive menu. I saw a lot of people getting the soft serve. It did look good and has some wonderful options. The onion rings and mushroom fritters were actually pretty good. The others could have been better. This isn’t really a drive-in place where you order from your car. You do have to park and go in. The food is worth trying as a snack rather than a meal.

Had the mikes deluxe, fried clams & plank house fries. A seasonal fresh mixed berry shake! Yum!! Always great! Delicious!!! It’s NOT fast food. It’s worth waiting for. We go several times a month. Friends visiting from out of town request going to Mikes everytime. So so good, won’t be disappointed.

Great spot to hit In the summer when it’s hot outside for an ice cream. Still only .99 for a soft serve vanilla, strawberry or chocolate vanilla swirl. Food is decent, just not in my opinion the best tasting, somewhat cheap. Last time we went it was super crowded but they got through the line fast. What can you expect I guess when they have the cheapest food and ice cream around!
