Mike’s Cheesesteak used to be located at Gather downtown but moved. They are now located in Harry’s Subs, so it took me a minute to find them since their name isn’t on the exterior. I ordered the Mike’s with onion, cheese & mushroom along with a cannoli and a pup serving. My sandwich was overly salted for my taste (and I like salt), plus I only saw two mushrooms. The $4.00 pup serving was presented in an adorable swan tinfoil wrap. Cute, but not worth $4.00. The cannoli was fresh and obviously homemade.

Ok so this review is a long time coming. The name Mike’s Cheesesteaks is very well known in this area. I was greeted promptly and the guy was very friendly. He was sure to tell me where they received their products which impressed me. I ordered the cheesesteak with a few additional items. Ok! It was awesome to say the least. I also opted for some potato salad to try. Worth it! All of it! Go and get your sandwich today! Let me know what you think!

Had a cheese steak from the old location and it was a 10 outta 10. After a year I finally found the new location and decided to give it a try. Justin served us and did a heck of a job at the register, very personable!!! I bought 3 classic’s because I remembered them to be AWESOME !!! I failed to see the cheese incorperated in the sandwich like when they were at their previous location. Waited outside for about 30 minutes for the sandwiches to be prepared. $56 plus a tip seemed a bit much for the food we received. Maybe just a bad day but my wife and I were in agreement on what we remembered.
Update: 11/21/25 Justin contacted me about our visit and make no mistake, he was concerned about the issues and was professional in every way !!! Very easy to talk to and did not have any bitterness about anything, he just wants his sandwiches to continue to be second to none. Thank you for the conversation my Friend.

I had a classic cheesesteak and it was a 10/10. I previously ordered something from there and somehow the order got mixed up but they made it right and took care of me and that says a lot!!!! I definitely recommend the place food is excellent customer service is excellent I’ll definitely be back 10/10

This spot has it. We had the roast pork sandwich (sub) with sharp provolone and broccoli rabe. The bread was just right and held together the sandwich. The roast pork was tender and juicy, like pulled pork, but the star of the sandwich was the play of sharp provolone and bitter, garlicky and spicy broccoli rabe. One of the best sandwiches with few ingredients but with the right proportions. We also ordered a cannoli with chocolate chips which has a fresh and crisp outside and gooey and flavorful filling.
The staff is courteous and friendly. We ordered and they took down our number to text us when our order was ready. Highly recommend.

We shared a Philly Cheesesteak Andrew’s Way, a Roast Pork and The Widger, and they were all tremendous. The Cannoli was out of this world. If you haven’t been here, you need to make the pilgrimage. Go Birds!

Loved this place! The guys working were all super nice and the place is run very well. Quick, efficient, tasty, and fresh! The meat is super flavorful and portions are great. I also love the two options they offer for dogs, the meat and the pup pop. My dogs ennoyed both. Such a great idea to offer something for the pups. Will drfinitely be back!

Can’t suggest this place enough! We loved the casual vibe and the food was delicious! They were such a fun bunch that seemed to really have pride in their food and love for their customers and it shows! We got the classic and the roast pork sandwich with boardwalk fries – and couldn’t pick a favorite! The pork sammy had deliciously tender pork and super garlicky rabe – perfection! And the classic cheesesteak was so good with the cooper cheese! Will definitely be back!
