From the moment you walk in, you feel a great atmosphere. The service and seating were quick, and the waitress was very attentive. Since it was our first visit, she explained the menu and gave us some good suggestions. We started with the Ozzie rolls, which were warm and soft. Then we ordered the Drunken Rib Eye and the Ribs, both of which were delicious and cooked to our specifications. We’ll be back for the other dishes. The portions are generous.

Mike American Grill is a wonderful place to dine! The food was delicious, and the building itself is beautiful and historical, with three floors and a very nice layout. The kitchen setup is impressive, and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. We had pasta with seafood, salmon, and dessert—everything was perfectly presented and tasted amazing. We also celebrated my friend’s birthday there and truly enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended for both the food and the atmosphere! ️

On New Year’s Day we were looking for a place to eat in the Springfield area. We were visiting family there from out of town and It has been about ten years since I’ve been to Mike’s.
It was so amazing that after all these years, I was very enthusiastic to return.
We were fortunate enough to get reservations for an early dinner and I was really looking forward to it!
We arrived around 3 PM for our reservation and it was extremely busy. We were immediately taken to our table and our server arrived shortly thereafter. His name was Colby and he could not have been a nicer young man. He was amazing and his service was top notch!
I once again had the filet mignon with crab cake and mushrooms. Even thinking about it over a month later, I wish I was there right now!
Their quality and service has not changed one iota in the several years between visits. I only wish it wasn’t so far away but I would have no issue driving 3+ hours to eat there again because it was that good!
If you’re ever in the Springfield area, do yourselves a huge favor and check out Mike’s American as you will NOT regret it!

My first time visiting Mike’s America Grill. Our server Amy F, was an absolute gem!!!! She made us feel comfortable, had great knowledge of the menu and her customer service made this visit & my birthday the best day ever!!!
From the minute we came in everyone was attentive to our needs. All the food was so delicious and seasoned to perfection!!!! The community bread basket, bang bang shrimp, streak and calamari was top tier. The personalized happy birthday bread pudding dessert was 1000/ 10!!!! It was so delicious I did not want it to finish.
My family were beyond impressed with the service, food and atmosphere. We will definitely go back. Thank you for making my birthday so special and memorable.

My family has been coming here for 20yrs. We celebrate birthdays here. It is truly a beautiful restaurant. The fun details. The craftsmanship. The lighting. The atmosphere. Everything about this restaurant is wonderful. Great indoor space. Incredible bar. The food. The staff everything is just amazing. This is a must stop if you are in the area.

Amazing service. All specials offered were absolutely worth a try. Service was fast despite full house. Staff is very professional, friendly and attentive to your requests. Food was so good that family cleaned the plates despite sizable portions. Be sure to ask staff about the size of you plan to share, but realistically it is unlikely you will have problem finishing individual orders so good they are. Fish was done absolutely perfect, kids loved their penne as well. Originally planned to skip a desert. I am glad we did not. Waffle was a vomplete delight.

From start to finish, the experience was top-notch. The service was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The crab dip was loaded with juicy lumpsof crab. The hanger steak salad was cooked to perfection. The restaurant was busy on a Saturday night, so reservations are definitely recommended, but the lively, warm, and social atmosphere made the evening even better. A fantastic dining experience all around—I’ll definitely be coming back!

Those mini biscuits are the best things ever! My food was bland though. I had crab cakes with fries. Im use to spicy, seasoned food so my taste buds are different i guess. The place is really pleasant and our waitress was awesome. I took my brother there for his birthday.
