1st time here. The lady running the counter wasnt very helpful. East Coast hurry up attitude. Was told this place beats Jersey Mike’s. Maybe I just ordered the wrong sandwich. Bread is wrong, however, it’s super chewy, which means it was nuked too long and not toasted. I’m not even sure if it’s supposed to be toasted, didn’t see a description, and the lady already moved on to another customer while I was trying to ask questions. Not impressed. Taste like jerky on bread. If I wanted a microwave sandwich I would have stopped at a gas station instead of driving over an hour to get here. I’m sure the cold sandwiches are good. I doubt I will take another gamble.

For those a bit apprehensive so stop by here due to other reviews let me put you all at ease. This is THE place for a true NY style hero sandwich! My first time walking into the joint and you can tell right off the bat that they make some solid hoagies here. I ordered there classic Original Italian sub waited for just a few minutes while everything got sliced fresh and the sandwich was made to order. This place def gives me a city vibe when I’m inside. The owner is no nonsense and a bit serious but if u go to any deli in the city you get the same kind of approach so I wasn’t off put one bit. Its a small spot w/some seating outside so it’s perfect on a nice sunny day but let’s talk about this sandwich though. Hands down one of my top 3 all-time favorites and one of the very best italian combos I have ever had….period. Only Faicco’s rivals it and thats me saying something. This Italian sub has incredible balance and their prosciuttini is out of this world salty n peppery. Biting into it its like a work of art everything layered right ‘ll the toppings working in unison with the cold cuts it’s truly a thing if beauty. Dnt let negative reviewers deter you from this life changing experience. You won’t regret it.

So all you need to know is they are awesome. Order the giant number 6, banana peppers, letus on the board, tomatoes, onions, and quartered. Best sandwich plus their pickles are fantastic!
