I just had the oxtail cheese steak and I cannot recommend it enough. The tender and flavorful meat fried with peppers and pickled jalapenos, mild white cheddar and a perfect steamed bun.
If you are in Ybor it’s a must have, of you are in Tampa I would go to Ybor for it, if you are looking for warm weather and hit Florida, I would consider heading to Tampa to treat myself with this perfectly balanced sandwich.

I moved from Philly last year and found Mikkeos and their cheesesteak was the closest to home. I just ordered it today and I will say the quality has gone down it did not have that much flavor and had a weird taste. It still was not a bad cheesesteak just not like Philly.

Less than I expected. Based on reviews I expected a spectacular Cheesesteak Sandwich. Mediocre at best. The single employee seemed a bit uncertain of the menu. Being from Oklahoma, my Southern slang and his Creole thang didn’t work well at all. I ordered no peppers on my wife’s and extra peppers on mine. Both got peppers. This is one of those places that relies on the bar closings in the immediate area to survive. It wasn’t the cleanest eatery I’ve visited in 2025, but it wasn’t the dirtiest either. It’s one of those places that promotes “no public restrooms” to keep the tourists from walking in and out. I’m rambling and don’t want to say too much negative – but notice there isn’t much positive. If you’re looking for a pizza slice that’s ready to pull off the hit-plate and walk or run, this is the place!

The food is absolutely delicious, we had the oxtail pizza and the oxtail cheesesteak and it was absolutely delicious. If you’re in tampa pls check thm out! The atmosphere is cool and laid back , the customer serive is friendly and the food is amazing. You wont be disappointed

Lemme tell you.. I’m kinda harsh when it comes to cheesesteak hoagies because I’m a big Philly Cheesesteak fan. This place didn’t disappoint. It’s almost like being in Philly, but in Ybor City. The stuff the sandwich hardcore. And the presentation is awesome. Nice and neat, cut nicely in a container. They make them like they’re eating it themselves. I will definitely be back here. The counter guy was cool and even let me know it would be a “few minutes” because they had a lot of orders for them (total wait time was about 5-6 minutes and totally worth the wait). He even checked back while I was eating and asked how it was. I confirmed it was amazing!

It’s a food truck or trailer, and it’s fantastic. Donni was so nice and helped us out. So you assume that they only serve cheese steak, but they also serve so much more, and let me tell you. We ordered the buffalo wings, and I have to say they were probably some of the best wings I’ve ever had in my life. Here’s the thing, though: it was $20, but this included fries and 10 wings (I believe). But the wings were so big and delicious that I just ordered one platter, and it filled both my son and me. I would definitely be back for some more, hands down. I wasn’t too pleased with the location, but it’s not going to stop me from getting my hands on that delicious food.

Worse place I ever been to, I ordered 2 Philly’s and waited almost 30 minutes for one then the guy started the 2nd one after serving the 1st one and took just as long. I spent $60 for 2 sandwiches and 2 cans of pop and ended up throwing away most of it. Definitely a waste of time and money. Everyone who’s claims this place is good needs to check their taste buds.
