I don’t get the hype. Tried this based on SSBP Facebook group and online reviews. Have tried most of the bar pizzas in Mass. We ordered a cheese, a buffalo chicken, and hamburger pickle. Toppings and sauce were good and plentiful but the crust was not IT. Honestly, it reminded me of the crust on a pizza you get at the hockey rink, it was really dry and thin and super uniform. Makes me wonder if they make the crust or buy it frozen. Anyways, maybe they were just having an off night.

Ordered for the first time and am disappointed that the pepperoni I paid extra for to go on my pickle pizza wasn’t included. The taste of the pizza was not good at all. Also no indication with online ordering that the chicken fingers come with no sauce on the side. Poor experience from a first the customer.

Good pizza that is very overpriced- it is only a decent price when you have a coupon or there is a special. The worst part about this establishment (Walpole location) is that their hours are entirely made up. There is no telling when the will be open or stay open until. There is also no way to call your order in, you must do it online. There is no actual store to go into, you have to pick up in a sketchy parking lot. Pricing would be more justifiable if there was an actual place to eat the food or consistent and stable hours.

Online says to call when you arrive, I call..no answer, wait 5 minutes call again. “Ya be right out”
Another 5 minutes pass, my pizza comes out or so I thought. “We screwed up a pizza, we’ll refund you or you can wait 10 minutes for it” I say I’ll wait but I want the others made fresh too or else they’re going to be cold too”
He gives me a look like I have 10 heads and questions me what I said?
I have had time to type this review, call my ex to profess my love and re-write my college entrance essay before they have brought out my pizza. They’ll probably read this before I get mine.
TLDR: Don’t go here, just go to Crisp down the street.

I got the pepperoni with hot honey and ricotta and it was amazing. If you like crispy edges on your bar pizza this is the place for you. Also as a FYI it’s a ghost kitchen so you need to order ahead bc there’s no where to sit and wait for pick up other than your car. Highly worth the wait though.

Decided to try Mike and Lennys because of the great reviews and my go to was closed. Easy online ordering. Met the owner super nice and friendly. Ordered 2 pizzas a little pricey with added toppings. Could not wait to try it. The pizza was good bar pizza but was disappointed with one pie due to lack of toppings. Ordered the sausage pizza with extra sausage and there was only one piece of sausage on 7 of the 8 slices.

I mean talk about a guy. The guy in this context is Samuel Lally. Knew he was a stud from the moment we locked eyes. He knew a pie like the back of his right hand. Listed off 50+ pies like it was 50 songs from his childhood. Clearly a locally grown kid. Knows how to handle customers. If you want a bar pizza that’s made by true Bostonian men then Mike and Lennys is the place.

Very very good!!! We got the mozzarella sticks and the half cheese/ half pepperoni – and we were really impressed. My only regret is we didn’t ask for more marinara sauce – it was delish. Def would recommend a try.

I ordered delivery of 2 pizzas. Two strikes; let me preface by saying the pizza was outstanding. First strike; I ordered one pizza well done, and one regular. They reversed which one I wanted well done. Second strike and most likely wouldn’t re-order again. I did NOT order touchless delivery. The acknowledgment said it would be delivered 7:20pm. Around 7:10, I went outside to refill my birdbath. I then saw my pizzas sitting on the walkway to my front door. No knock, no doorbell. This is considered unacceptable. Sorry, if this is your protocol, I will not be ordering again.
