Used to be my go to delivery place but the quality has gradually gotten worse. Maybe they are too focused on their new Honolulu teatok locations. We order general Taos chicken lunch special, pot stickers, and 4 cheese wonton. Over 50 dollars plus an additional tip. Placed order at 11:21am and got order at 12:26. Fried food was over cooked and Everything was cold. We have tried to keep giving mikasa chances but this is the last time I’ll order.

We’ve been feasting at Mikasa since it opened. This event was a take out order. All went smooth yet our sweet & sour shrimp ended up chicken. In less than 5 minutes after picking up, my phone was ringing. The manager was on the line apologizing for the mix up. (Normally I’d be the one calling if it were anyone other). He allowed us to keep the chicken and return for the shrimp. So, SO glad we did. What service! And the shrimps were delightful and XL. The pic speaks for itself. Thanks Mikasa again and again.

I have never in my life gone to a restaurant and been served rotten food without the staff attempting to make it right. My daughter and I were both served a dish with rotten avocado that tasted horrible. It looked rotten, smelled rotten and tasted rotten. We had to remove all avocado to make our dishes edible. I brought it to the attention of the server, who said she would go tell the cook. She then came back and took the rotten avocado away. She never came back with replacement avocado, and nothing was taken off of the bill. Absolutely nothing was done to try to make it right. The bill came to $49 for 2 partial dishes and an appetizer. Sad, I really did like this place.

Got sushi and some food here one night, food was greasy beyond galore, Laying in a box of grease. And found some long hair in my sushi. A bit pricey for the potions and quality but the taste is good. Just needs a little work.

They’re open late, which is a plus – but the food is only so-so, and service is slow. Something seemed off about the consistency of the rice in the sushi rolls, but the tempura house special roll with eel was pretty good. The miso soup was bland – and not in the good “this is a simple dish to cleanse your palate” way, but more in a “this tastes like it’s been watered down and has been sitting in a vat all day” kind of way. The side salad that comes with certain lunch items is simply depressing. I was hoping I could choose the seaweed salad, but instead I was stuck with a sad little heap of iceberg lettuce chunks with a drizzle of mystery sauce.

The food was good but the service was bad. I didn’t see no teamwork or any help involved. We kept asking for help on the food we were missing so had to remind and happened with having our drinks refilled and asking for a to-go box. The wait in between took awhile til we had to ask again. And the restaurant reeked of an awful smell as we went in. Other than that we did enjoy the food.

Ordered a sushi platter for, they said 30-40 minutes. 45 minutes later, I call back, they said it was out for delivery. 40 minutes later delivery arrives, met in hallway and told him,”I’ll take it” then he took off and left nothing.

Mikasa is great for lunch or dinner. Lunch is more bang for your buck with the selection of soups and salads you can add. Sushi is great A couple days ago I had put in an online order received my food, when I arrived home I noticed they gave me 2 orders of the same sushi. Not a big problem but, I wished it was the one I asked for but at least I got sushi that I paided for. Overall the service is great & the atmosphere is relaxing, business oriented. Give them a try if you haven’t already!

I like their food and usually the service. But I ordered my food at 5 and had to call because they kept forgetting about it as my delivery time was for 6. And didn’t receive my order until after 7. I was left waiting at the half way point to my house I had it delivered to for over an hour. And the ice cream in my order was completely melted. I had paid a lot for the food and left a good tip and I’m very disappointed. I also called to ask for a refund on the desserts and the delivery fee and they said not my problem.
