Not really inviting on the outside, looks like a locals bar, kinda dark and dingy on the inside. But the food and staff were good enough to overcome any trepidation I had with the atmosphere of the place. Great homemade burgers and generous amounts of fries.

Classic hometown bar. Remember going here in the 80s with my grandma. Betty Burger is good. Though it’s big. If you’re not a big eater go for the mini Betty Burger. Fries were crispy and tasty. Serving size was small. Beer cold. Waitress provided good service and was nice. This is a local bar with most customers from around there. Kinda of place where everyone knows your name.

A bit older, more of a rural place (duh, it’s up north in a rural location). Had a Double Betty Burger, it was 12oz and hung 1 inch over the bun. Damn huge and all fresh fixing. Loved it.

Betty burgers are hands down the best. And the service excellent, the best no frills bar in Michigan Betty and her son made me feel welcome.
And Ms. Betty is like a local historian she named names that I hadn’t heard in years, but she remembers them all.
