Mikado restaurants are family oriented and offer a wide selection of food to appeal to a range of tasters that are considered Asian Fusion Entrees. We challenge you to try every one of our traditional and contemporary Japanese hot food dishes including yakisoba, beef and chicken teriyaki, tempura, gyoza dumpling and udon noodles soup made-to-order. Also, we offer a tepan-yaki grill station where our chef will promptly cook your selection of beef, chicken or vegetable while you wait must try – our Fresh off the grill Kabobs. We’ve also added a healthy mix of all time seafood favorites to our menu such as snow crab legs, jumbo shrimp, oyster, and Steamed fish.

The selection of main entry foods is great but a bit limited for the price point. $100 for 2 adults and 1 kid is too expensive but must be because of the crab legs and other sea food. Sushi bar has good selection, the Hibachi had fresh meats and veggies , Salad bar and desert were skipped. The bbq ribs were delicious and fried spring rolls and crab Rangoon were crispy. Servers were very attentive and they kept the place clean. Overall great experience and will definitely come back again.

Wowww. This is a fantastic buffet for people of all food interests. They have a wonderful selection of sushi, raw fishes, chicken and beef dishes, authentic Japanese dishes, noodles, soups, and custom bowls. And don’t forget dessert- they offer ice cream, fresh fruits and an array of delicious desserts. Restaurant is clean and kept up with considering how much they have going on.

The sushi here is very mediocre, for $31.95 I would rather go to AAKI or AYCE Hotpot. The sushi bar and hibachi area doesn’t seem to be very well maintained and there’s flies everywhere. They have a huge selection of sushi rolls but none of them look fresh, except the sashimis. I would only come back here for the Snow Crab Legs and that’s about it.

There are zero great sushi buffets in Orlando, and this 3 star establishment is likely the best one. Fairly large number of sushi rolls on the buffet, but none are particularly attractive or unique. The rest of the buffet (the hibachi, the hot bar and the cold bar) are virtually identical to your run-of-the-mill Chinese buffet, and you’d be better off just focusing on filling up on sushi. Usually pretty crowded, so you gotta navigate around people to get the things you want.

There is no possible way to leave hungry! So delicious! As someone who frequents Mikado’s other locations and as someone not too keen on buffets, I trust them. Nice location, and all the buffet stations were clean, organized, and well stocked, with so much delicious variety! Loved everything I had, and there was something for everyone’s tastes.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Everything was horrible from customer service to the atmosphere and the food. There was a wide variety and it was very nice to have that but besides that the staff made me and my friend feel very very dumb and we’re very unhelpful.

Okay this is probably the only decent sushi buffet left in central Florida, so I say this with the most gratitude. I am also comparing this to some better ones I’ve been to in California and Las Vegas. I drove all the way from Tampa to go here for the sushi variety. I appreciate the effort to provide a decent spread, however the replenishment of certain items was lacking and the sushi rice was too sour and tart lacking a subtle sweetness to balance out the flavor. This is an issue because no matter how good the sushi ingredients are, a bad flavor profile for the sushi rice will ruin it all. Also many of their sashimi salads and seafood salads lacked flavor and appear to be sloppily flavored and seasoned. Once again bland or just sour. Lacking a more complex and well thought out flavor profile. Service was okay,the lady cleared plates and refilled drinks. The gentleman who welcomed us is stern and appears to play the role of the “pit boss.” All in all give it a go and see what you think and if my review holds any merit here. I do run a restaurant myself and am also a chef for my profession, so this is my two cents!
