The food was good, not great. I ordered guacamole for my chips, and while the guacamole was good, the Pico de gallo on it was old and a tad mushy, not fresh. I ordered the pork tacos with pineapple. I give it a 5 out of 10. It was just meh. The chips were good and served warm. That was nice. My husband had the Dungeness crab enchiladas. He said it was a 7.5 out of 10. The crab was fresh and very good. We didn’t order drinks, so I can’t rate their bar. However, the menu had a wide variety of tequila if that floats your boat. The food was a bit overpriced for what it was. I didn’t know if that’s because we are on an island, so that may factor into the cost. Would I go there again? No, probably not.

This place reminds me of San Antonio, TX so much – the food was amazing (I ordered the tacos al pastor, LOVED the pineapple addition), the atmosphere is genuine, and the service was amazing!! The guacamole was great as well. If you are a large party, definitely make reservations ahead of time but the two of us were able to walk right in at 4pm (when they open) and sit immediately.

We had a 6 PM reservation Saturday in June that happened to coincide with the high school graduation. We saw there were several families dining together. We were seated outside pretty swiftly, but it took quite some time for the servers to even bring us water and then chips & salsa. We do understand it was a busy weekend and evening, so no worries! When the food was delivered, it was absolutely worth it – as my salad with grilled chicken was absolutely delicious. Very fresh ingredients and the chicken had a delightful flavor. My husband enjoyed his tacos meal as well. For the food – this is a definite go-to! Just make sure you make a reservation (as during our stay they were quoting one hour wait to walk ups) and if it is a busy evening, just be a little patient with service.

We arrived at our reservation time, but had about a 10 minute wait while hostess showed other customers tables in the back. After that delay, service was quite fast. We’ve been here before and noticed that the table Salsa recipe has changed, which is a shame. The old recipe was very good, but this new one we left pretty much untouched. I tried the beef short ribs for the first time. Although the amount of beef you get for the price, seems pretty small, the entire dish was attractive and all the components very tasty. My wife ordered the Carne Asada and there was a better portion of beef and it was one of the best carne asadas we’ve ever had. The marinade was spot on and it was very tender. Margaritas here are also excellent. Everything here is priced pretty high for a Mexican eatery, but of course, they are “island prices”. Over the years, we’ve eaten at numerous Mexican restaurants (lived in Texas for 20 yrs) and I’m glad that we have one on the island with such good food…even at the cost.

This was highly recommended by locals. However I’ll never go back when visiting. I got pork enchiladas and the pork reminded me of canned pork/ canned dog food is what it looked like. My son’s enchiladas were cold and he had the beef ones and the flavor was really bad as well. The salsa and chips were the best part. I was super disappointed as this was recommended by many.

Our server was able to share her preferred enchilada for me and it was delicious. We enjoyed their guacamole and drinks and had a delightful time. Our 2nd time enjoying this establishment over our last couple of visits to the island. Never disappoints. Highly recommend, but we lucked out not needing a reservation.

We sat outside and it had a very warm and cozy atmosphere. They offer blankets if you’re cold. Our server was super on top of it and attentive despite it being busy. My husband and I weren’t super hungry and shared the chicken enchilada and beet salad. Both were very tasty and the perfect portion size! Highly recommend!

We were on our way to another restaurant, but we could smell the fresh tortillas from a block away and changed our mind to go to Mujitas. After a short 15 minute wait, we were seated.

The chips and salsa are really good, and we ended up getting a side of guac, which made us definitely eat too many chips. (No regrets though!)

We ordered a Dos Enchiladas plate with chicken and salsa Verde. The chicken was a bit bland, and we realized we didn’t care for salsa Verde, but are glad we tried something new. ⭐⭐⭐

We also ordered the Tacos Al Pastor, something we’ve never tried before, and we’re pleasantly surprised! We really enjoyed the tacos, especially the pineapple and the salsa. We highly recommend this dish! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Overall, we enjoyed the experience and the food was good!

Nothing can go wrong at this venue. Fun, local vibe. Friendly staff. Lomo de Puerco and Pollo al carbon is our usual go to and their mesquite spice is to die for! And chips are always served warm. I enjoy eating out in their lovely courtyard in the summer time as the indoor seatings can get really cozy. They are almost always busy throughout the year and reservations are highly recommended. Food is 9 out of 10 times amazing but I’ve had inconsistent meals a few times in the past.

Absolutely delicious food! The wait staff was excellent, and the menu was full of interesting dishes. I ordered the short ribs in mole sauce.

My party of four came near dusk and was sat outside at their beautiful patio area. Because it was near closing time when we have received our food the patio area was dark. The umbrellas we were under lacked any lighting which made the eating experience a bit of a trust fall. My party turned on their phone lights to be able to see our food which was more fun for us than anything else but some might want to sit inside if it’s getting dark outside.

All in all though four stars!
