We loved our lunch at Mija’s today! Everything was on point. The ribs were so flavorful with or without bbq sauce. My husband tore up his tacos and left no crumbs. The sausage was amazing. I’m even more excited to eat my leftovers tonight! Great customer service as well!

You could taste the smoke flavor on meat. Brisket was tender, pulled pork was tender, ribs a little dry baked beans -was not to my liking but that is me. Potato salad great. Fries great and mac n cheese was ok. Atmosphere great people great. Spent around $54 for two.

Outstanding– everything from the tallow fries to the mac and cheese, elote, and brisket.
I highly recommend that my fellow foodies make the drive because this is worth it. It’s hands down one of my top five barbecue joints from now on. Wow, just wow!!

Good food, good service, and good portion sizes… tight fit inside if more than 3 ppl but plenty of outdoor space… parking is limited but overall a good place with great food.

Food was amazing the brisket was super tender and everything had great flavor. The sides were on point too, especially the mac & cheese. Service was friendly and fast, and the place just had a chill, welcoming vibe. Definitely coming back next time I’m in the area.

We had a delicious lunch! Homey atmosphere, small inside dining area and large outdoor area. Brisket everything was on my mind, and I was not disappointed. Had the brisket taco and brisket street taco (slightly different) and elotes. Others had the brisket grilled cheese, sweaty pig sandwich and a few sides. All were delish and everyone was satisfied with the quality and portions. Recommend if you are in the Cedar Hill area.

Tried the brisket tacos (regular and Dallas) and both were delicious! Also had to have some tallow fries because they’re made with beef tallow and not seed oil. Delicious and just the right crunch. Sweet tea was also delish. Great food and cute cozy little place!! I definitely recommend.
