Our passion for fresh food comes from our founder, Mary Vasquez. Throughout her childhood in Central Mexico, she cooked with her mother and grandmother, helping to prepare family meals. When she moved to the States, she married Mike, had children of her own, continuing to make her favorite recipes from her childhood.
In 1973, Mike and Mary took over an existing restaurant in Corona, CA and renamed it “Miguel’s” in honor of Mike’s grandfather.
Today this family tradition continues. It is our promise to deliver the freshest, best tasting California Mexican food each and every day.

I ordered the Loaded Fries with Carne Asada and sat to eat. The portion size was smaller than expected. Missing breakfast, I expected a larger bowl, but finished my order and still feel hungry. For fifteen dollars I expected more fries at least. I try to be optimistic, but my families memories about the food and portions has changed. I wish this message gets to the owners and consider enlarging the plate size. Even the Garage burrito looks small compared to other food establishments nearby. Would not recommend if your really hungry and don’t want spend over fifteen dollars on a brunch meal.

I went through the drive thru at the Miguel’s Jr. on Compton in Corona today. What a disappointment. I ordered two garbage burritos – one with chicken and one with carne asada and both wet style. The carne asada was burned and I had to trade my chicken burrito for my husband’s steak burrito rather than go back to return my order. So I tried my husband’s steak burrito and boy he was not kidding. The steak was so burned and dried out, I couldn’t even chew it! What a waste of money. The chicken burrito was fine, but don’t order the carne asada. Poor quality control. And I paid $27 for those two burritos. 🙁

Average food, definitely not authentic Mexican food. Service is good and friendly. Atmosphere, is not Mexican decor.

Really yummy food! Visiting from Texas and was so looking forward to some great Mexican food. This was it! I’d also like to commend the young man taking orders outside last night. He was a very nice guy as well as the young lady at the window. Great experience.

If you time it just right, the drive-through is sometimes empty. With today’s rising prices, the BRC ( right at $4) is a great burrito! They also accept SNAP.

This is another good place to eat. No computers, just good, old-fashioned customer service. The place is always clean and the food never disappoints.

Beware eating the taquitos here. The cooks tried to hide this mold under cheese and guacamole. Luckily I saw the discoloration and peeled back the cheese. Not sure how much mold I consumed though. Waiting to see if I get sick. There’s no way the cooks didn’t see this. They just tried to hide it which is disturbing to say the least. The manager refunded my meal however if I am in the ER with mold poisoning later 26$ will be the last thing on my mind

I ordered the carne asada original burrito, that l had been ordering 15+ yrs, I still don’t know what they gave me, 3 bites in l knew this was something different. Took it back to the attendant who said the recipe had changed and if I wanted to order something else. Not taking a chance on another changed recipe disaster, i said no, just refund please. Sadly I won’t be back without the original recipes return.

Fresh food tastes authentic, skip Chipotle or Cafe Rio, this is the place you wanna be at if you’re craving Mexicano.
