Social Profile:

Our passion for fresh food comes from our founder, Mary Vasquez. Throughout her childhood in Central Mexico, she cooked with her mother and grandmother, helping to prepare family meals. When she moved to the States, she married Mike, had children of her own, continuing to make her favorite recipes from her childhood. In 1973, Mike and Mary took over an existing restaurant in Corona, CA and renamed it “Miguel’s” in honor of Mike’s grandfather. Today this family tradition continues. It is our promise to deliver the freshest, best tasting California Mexican food each and every day at all of our Miguel’s Jr. locations. Now Accepting EBT Payments!

This loaded fried here at Miguel’s Jr is da bomb! Carne asada, jack cheese, creamy serrano salsa, chunky guacamole, diced tomatoes, cilantro, and onion topped on seasoned fried. So good! Add their famous in house made hot sauce for more extra flavor!

Service always good here and then place is always clean when I dine in.

I could never not give Miguel Junior‘s five stars since it’s my favorite Fast food although this location and the Woodcrest location are more expensive than the Corona locations and have smaller portions. I’ve eaten at every Miguel Junior’s and this one definitely has the smallest of all the portions. Burritos and bowls are a joke Compared to other locations, especially since it’s more expensive. I don’t know if you can tell from this picture, but that burritos smaller than Del taco half pound beef and cheese burrito. I don’t think I’ve ever left this location, not disappointed by the size of everything.

The overall experience was good until it got down to the food which my El Potato wasn’t fully cooked to the standard. But it was still tasty .

The atmosphere and customer service was great. I cannot complain about this aspect; however, the business feels very corporate structure. I feel like I was walking into chipotle, rather than an actual Mexican restaurant. The portions were very small, compared to other restaurants. Overall, the food felt more American than Mexican.

Nothing. It’s a bad place, but I just wouldn’t go there again due to the portion size being very small, compared to their competitors.

I posted the pictures of the carne asada fries . Look how small the portion is.. Carne asada fries can usually be share with a friend. So, I was taken back when I saw how small the portion was.

This Miguel Jr’s location is one of the best. It’s open a bit later than most and has plenty of seating, which makes it a great choice for a casual bite. The staff is always friendly and attentive from the moment you walk in, and I’ve never had an order messed up — a rare win these days.

Today I stepped out of my usual and tried the Pozole. My grandma might be rolling in her grave, but I’ve got to say — it was pretty good. Definitely not homemade, but surprisingly flavorful for a fast-casual spot.

The tacos could’ve been a bit crispier, but I had the beef, which was juicy enough to cause some softening — not the worst trade-off. My wife thought her enchiladas were a little dry, but she prefers them extra saucy. Mine were spot on.

Even though there’s another Miguel Jr’s closer to home, this one has become our go-to — and that says a lot.

I’ve been going to Miguel’s Jr for over 37 years and I have to say, Tristan at this location on Limonite has prompted me to give my first Miguel’s review. I should have given one many years ago with how much my family and I love this place but here we are. Tristan is always smiling, cleaning and working every time we go in. Sometimes you just know when people care and can tell when they love their job. Tristan is a pleasure and we’re thankful he’s at this spot! Thanks Miguel’s and thanks Tristan for serving good food and great service!

Overall have been very happy with is Mexican food, until tonight. Sadly found a long piece of black hair in my shredded beef taco. Otherwise food has always been good. Just disappointed about the hair because I loved their tacos. Not sure I’ll be coming back.

I have them a 2nd chance. This time I got the Cali burrito. The burrito was half the size of normal Cali burritos and look at the picture. There was only an ounce of meat at best. Horrible. The worst California burrito, actually the worst burrito I have ever had.

Emptied the plate means it was not bad at all. However, to me it was little salty. I ordered traditional taco meal. Rice and bean are exceptionally tasty. Tacos, they were just OK.

Order 3 Taquitos and the 2 carne asada street tacos plate. The taquitos were cold and stale all the way through, with no flavor. Tasted like they were store bought microwaved. Perhaps they changed the recipe. Wife enjoyed her street tacos but also complained that they were cold. I expected that the food would be hot and fresh since the drive through attendant asked us to pull our car to the front and wait on our food. I was very wrong and disappointed.
