Social Profile:

Our passion for fresh food comes from our founder, Mary Vasquez. Throughout her childhood in Central Mexico, she cooked with her mother and grandmother, helping to prepare family meals. When she moved to the States, she married Mike, had children of her own, continuing to make her favorite recipes from her childhood. In 1973, Mike and Mary took over an existing restaurant in Corona, CA and renamed it “Miguel’s” in honor of Mike’s grandfather. Today this family tradition continues. It is our promise to deliver the freshest, best tasting California Mexican food each and every day at all of our Miguel’s Jr. locations.

First time trying Miguel Jrs as recommended by an Uber driver. It’s advertised as genuine Mexican but honestly does not taste like it. It’s closer to Taco Bell type eating, but I would choose Taco Bell next time. Ordered $50+ worth of food close to closing time in the drive thru and while the food came out quick, my tostada had a hair in it so had to throw it away once I opened the box at home. The guacamole is kinda scary looking and the quesadilla, taquitos, and burritos were sub-par. Last time visiting Miguel Jrs unfortunately!

While the atmosphere at a Miguel Jr. is very fast food, the food and the service is top notch. The menu is a little slim on variety, but everything is well priced, and the portions are good. The staff is super friendly and always willing to assist if you ask. I’ve now been to two different locations and my experience and the food made a good impression. Certainly a good place for lunch or supper, or just to go. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.

I absolutely love coming here. I visit at least twice a week. I’ve been here 60 times and always come back. Their food is absolutely delicious. I always order the stuffed relleno burrito. My only complaint is the service. It would be nice to see them greet us by name or hear them say nice to see you again. We are extremely loyal to this restaurant.

I have only used the drive thru at this location. They are pretty fast and efficient. The food is what you expect as requested. I love the bean and cheese burrito- beans are just perfect. Creamy and not salty- the tortilla nice and soft. The garbage burrito is my son’s cave- it has everything and the meat is good, not hard, just right mount of seasoning. My wish is that they made salsa with more heat. Their salsa is OK..it has good flavor but no heat. Love this place.

This food has no flavor. You’re better off going to Taco Bell. I order the potato burrito, which is supposed to have seasoned potatoes but they were just boiled. The chicken was just seasoned with salt. I like moist chicken but this was so shredded that it was dripping water. And the cheese wasn’t even melted! They don’t toast they burrito can you believe that! Service was fast in the drive thru but that’s because they don’t have customers!

Love the crunchy beef tacos and the potato taco (off menu), and garbage burrito are all really good here. Service is quick, staff are friendly, and never had problems with my order. Drive thru has a really sharp turn so I need to make a 3pt turn in my truck to enter the line.

Made a last minute decision to grab a couple tacos and Taquitos around 8:30 ish tonight. When I placed my order I asked specifically for no beans, however I’d like double rice with the tacos. I also asked for green salsa on the side. All was clear for both myself and the gentleman taking the order. I then sit in the drive thru for maybe 30 minutes and there is only two cars ahead of me. Literally the car sat at the window with zero communication from any employee on the hold up. I actually was dialing the restaurant to ensure everything was okay. It was really bazaar. Finally get my food go home and they gave me beans, and no salsa. The tacos were so soggy and had so much liquid we tossed them. I’d expect a bit more for $30

Wet bean & cheese burrito and chile rellano burritos are always good. Only downside the sauce leaks out of the container consistently if tipped slightly. Never enough hot sauce is provided in drive-thru so request extra.

Note that this review is specifically for the El Camino Real location in Tustin: I ordered a Chile relleno burrito no rice, and they gave me a Chile relleno burrito with no rice AND no Chile relleno. At this point, they’ve charged me $8 bucks for what is essentially a bean and cheese burrito, and worse, they lied to me at the drive-thru window when I asked them to confirm that the only thing they took out was the rice. In short, I ordered food, but what I got was incompetence with a side of dishonesty.
